An opportunity for value investors to pick some good stocks at relatively fair price.

Bought back DF today and also added more units of UCAP to my bags.

I'm thinking of a project.

If people could be trusted, it will be great for a select number of people to pool funds and gradually buy shares of a tier 2 bank. We will employ a director (preferably Wanaj or Pa Emma) to sit at the board. The director will be our eyes and ears in the bank. It will be an activist investor group (Carl Icahn way).

The small company so formed will have every member as a stakeholders. It could be a-10 man or a -20 man company.

Dividends will be shared based on ratio contributed. Sales and income generated will be based on ratio contributed.

Why should this be done? Your N200m investment in a tier 2 bank cannot force the bank to make drastic changes. However a - 15 man investment of N200m each (N3b), if bought at low prices, will cause a major change in the affairs of the bank.

What do you think??

Great idea, if we start buying N3b worth of shares from a Tier2 bank who go sell to us alone, and I think the info go move price higher. My thoughts.

It is a project!

Buy as it gets low to prevent prices from going higher. Buy over time. Then get into the board. Force changes.

We don't just dabble into the market. We just target when prices are low. Sub N1 after special situations like in 2015 to early 2017. That would have given us so much volume.

I don't trouble myself trying to predict what Mr market will do next.

Identity a stock with good value, set my entry price and when that happens I just buy provided there is fund available.

Of course, the stock might loose some percentage in the near time but I will definitely be fine as long as the company is keeping up with my projected numbers when results are released.

When the sellers you saw today refuse to sell in 2 days time, just know it is all emotions. That is what the market is built on.

Just operate the strategies that suite you. I know some people here are already sitting on paper losses because of their entry price but they will not be moved.

The tide will change soon. Sanity will come to the market. The companies that hold real value for investors will appreciate substantially. 2018 is still promising.
