Still early as usual, but one will deduce from the fact that crude oil price will be bullish this year grin

I'm thinking of a project.

If people could be trusted, it will be great for a select number of people to pool funds and gradually buy shares of a tier 2 bank. We will employ a director (preferably Wanaj or Pa Emma) to sit at the board. The director will be our eyes and ears in the bank. It will be an activist investor group (Carl Icahn way).

The small company so formed will have every member as a stakeholders. It could be a-10 man or a -20 man company.

Dividends will be shared based on ratio contributed. Sales and income generated will be based on ratio contributed.

Why should this be done? Your N200m investment in a tier 2 bank cannot force the bank to make drastic changes. However a - 15 man investment of N200m each (N3b), if bought at low prices, will cause a major change in the affairs of the bank.

What do you think??

Will anyone in the legal profession be admitted to member?

We don't just dabble into the market. We just target when prices are low. Sub N1 after special situations like in 2015 to early 2017. That would have given us so much volume.

I will be so happy to see fidelity below 1 naira and UBA below 3 naira.

No. Just an illustration.

We can all work towards it - say in 5 years to 10 years time. We build funds.
