Hi Seniors, I got to a section to upload my documents and it's asking for 3 Employment proof of employment. I have had 3 jobs but I am only using 1 to claim points and I have received the reference letter from the employer for this job.

Can I remove the other 2 jobs from the "Work History" section and leave the only one I'm using to claim points so I won't be needing references from employers which is not necessary?
The "Personal History" section already contains all the jobs with an indication that it was an employment.

Please, kindly advise accordingly, I just don't want to make any silly mistakes ooo.. angry smiley
You can remove them. Placeholders will be automatically removed.

Oga Mosbiod,

I am not sure of this your question ni o, please clarify...you are post-ITA and you want to delete some work history, enter them in personal history and then check if you still meet the lowest cut-off CRS for the draw which gave you ITA?

Goodmorning NL family
Please I have a question. My husband is the pa and he is an insurance agent of NOC 6231 (level B) but was promoted early this month to a manager. My question is which NOC will he use, it is that of agent or manager. Thank you

I think he should use the NOC for which he has the requisite experience i.e. insurance agent, since the manager role is very recent.

So LVO is taking the piss. We got ADR for spouse's reference letters from current and previous employers.
And nope, we didn't claim points for them.

The issue is that one of the banks no longer exists and he's a poor record keeper so only his termination letter from a tsunami is available. Not even a complimentary card.

Anyone has suggestions?

Because the summary will not say something like "Two bachelor's degrees (four years)" ? I understand where you are coming from I doubt that would happen, he or she will see the qualification summary and then check each ECA report.

@ JustinTrudeau, just ensure you scan your two certificates and both ECAs plus IELTS TRF and place holder in the slot for Education when uploading.

To make you feel extra comfortable, do an LOE on Education and point out that you have two certificates assessed by two different bodies, make it the first page of the supporting documents for education, do a small table with name of institution, certificate obtained, year of study, assessment body and ECA number . The first thing VO will see is your LOE and he/she will already know what to look for.

Kontagious:

Sleekysilk and Happytbaby confirmed there's slot for inputting ECA number and date for every degree evaluated. Hope the VO is clever enough to know the two ECAs translates to two or more certificates.

Precedence in making.

There are separate slots to input different ECA numbers. I think I saw it when creating my profile.
40manlappy:

On selecting "2 or more certificates...", it seems there is only one slot to enter the ECA number. This may not be possible since you have separate ECAs for the ATS and BSc. You may consider a new evaluation with WES for both qualifications but please confirm from those who submitted recently.

Does he have a LinkedIn profile and were all these jobs on his profile?

@ termination letter; that one is also an evidence, how about bank statement from that period showing salary payments ? Plus, is the bank extinct or it was taken over by another bank? If it was taken over, you may still be able to get a reference. Any old complimentary cards in the house?

Since you did not claim points for it, just send the information you have with a LOE that you are not claiming points for the jobs. You will surely not be rejected cos of this.

@ 40manlappy;

Remember that you add each certificate separately, when you are done and click 'add' it goes to the bottom of the page? They are independent of each other.

WOW!!! Your post made my heart skip a beat. 1 year bank history ke? WHY?

I looked up the word 'provenance' (it means origin or earliest known history of something) so i guess they want you to show them the earliest record of the money. maybe where it came from (your bank account statement in this case) or how you got it.
Out of curiosity why do you think they asked for 1 year bank history? how many months bank statement did you submit upfront or what did you submit as POF?

Thanks Sleekchic..........The VO is curious because of our country of residence now and because the PA's status with 2 dependants. Also his bank here didn't give us a bank statement all they issued was a summary showing when the account was openened, address, names and the current balance. So I guess the VO didn't see the transactions break-down or the flow of money in and out. All is well

Please note that you might still get ADRs for them, so be prepared. you may want to address the issue upfront with an LOE in spite of moving to personal history.

Ordinarily, reference letter in CIC format should do. You may however add employment letter, complimentary card of reference letter signatory and any other corroborating document(s)

It is obvious what the Visa officer wants. Just simply send 1 year bank statements for your husband and your bank statements for the period when you transferred the fund to your husband's account. You should also write a LOE that the money is a gift to support your application. You might also include your 1 year bank statements too (not compulsory though).

Congratulations on your PPR

Quick Question please, did you do anything before you got NOI for OINP?

I'm currently on 429 and kinda depending on OINP literarily because I don't know when ITA will fall on me through FSWP with this my score.

Someone told me to delete the previous EE profile I had created in December and recreate another one which I did on January 20th. Still, I have not received NOI sad

Gurus in the house, please help a sister, am I doing anything wrong?

See below for an update on OINP:
January 23, 2018

Express Entry – Human Capital Priorities Notification of Interest

Please be advised that the OINP has commenced issuing NOIs under the HCP stream. Following the issuance of NOIs, the OINP will post on its website a program update informing stakeholders of the methodology used to issue NOIs.

The results of yesterday’s round are as follows:

Number of invitations issued: 340
Date and time of portal search: January 19, 2018 at 3:00 EST
CRS score range: 440 to 446
Date Express Entry profile submitted: January 1, 2018 to January 19, 2018

The OINP is managing the volume of applications to the HCP stream at this time. The OINP will be issuing NOIs on a regular basis to applicants, who at minimum, have a CRS of 400 and meet all eligibility criteria.

Let me add this to canny vs oz, Racism is everywhere in the world but from someone who has been living in oz for almost 3yrs I can tell U that oz is following or implementing everything about America immigration system, if U understand what I mean, let me also add that some refugees from Africa are not representing well causing a lot of national chaos (Google apex gang in Melbourne). As someone who works in health care industry "they don't like us they only need us" I'd say among all the western nation as OF TODAY that Canada is most friendly nation.above all, the economy here is really really good I must say.

good afternoon e-family, kudos to everyone
pls help with this
salary was not paid to my account when I was teaching and neither do we pay tax bt salary is paid to my husband's account and he pays tax. the issue now is if my husband is d PA we lose 30points. pls advise me on how to go about this

I think you should remain the PA but you might have to do the following in addition to other things as required:
- Request from your employer(s) to state clearly in their reference letter that you were on a monthly salary of X Naira which was payable in cash on the 24th (or as the case may be) day of the month. That way, you wouldn't be expected to show proof of salary payment in your account statement.
- You may also want to make use of a LOE in explaining the nature of such jobs and state that you received payment in cash.
There could be other ways around this though.

Thank you. No LinkedIn profile o, that might be a reason for the request. My guy na serious lay low, can't be bothered with anything IT beyond emails and sometimes Whatsapp.

Bank was taken over but we can't start running about like headless chickens from state A to state B.
It's from 9 years ago and cars have been changed, house changed so complimentary cards are also an issh. We're still hunting for that though.

Also thinking of printing at least one email he sent me with the official email account.

True. My husband's best friend lives in Australia. I heard they are quite racist over there. Not the same in Canada. At least, not that our landed brothers have told us.
You would be surprised (or not) to hear that the most racism against Nigerians are from fellow Nigerians/Africans.
