This was before Buhari and his coup planning friends turned a once vibrant economy to what it is today. The good old days before Bubu plunged Nigeria into recession.

Nigeria the promise of the black man that was never fulfilled because of some terrible people

They took away the promise of our continent

They took away took away the promise of our nation

We could have been an industrial hub with our population

We could have been a dominant force in technology with our brilliance

These terrible people killed our dreams, but who are these terrible people you might ask? Ordinary Nigerians that is who they are

Ordinary Nigerians consumed by greed and tribalism

Ordinary Nigerians supporting corruption and nepotism

So in the end, our destiny is still in our hands, if we decide to make the changes necessary

Let us stop entertaining nostalgia i.e. dreaming of perfect past that was never perfect

Instead, let us take practical steps to make Nigeria great again

Lalasticlala Kindly take this to the promised land so people can see what promise this country held before greed, nepotism and religious bigotry destroyed all. Imagine the government of Northern Nigeria owned piggeries which produced sausages. Cattle were being transported in train coaches down south meaning they didn't have to be herded by road causing clashes with farmers. We were even producing and exporting sausages.

There was indeed a country.

The curse of oil

You just had to be stupid again... Was Buhari the person who executed the coup of January 1966? Douchebag like you

Igbos were the cause of all this.

An Igbo man started the first coup. An Igbo man also brought about the centralization system. That destroyed all this. Imagine where we would have been by now if the Igbos hadn't done all these.

And now they want to secede and go with Biafra and leave other Nigerians in the huge mess they caused.

Lol cheesy Watch how the Igbos come for my head. The truth remains the truth nevertheless.

Hausa fulanis are the ones dragging Nigeria backwards today nevertheless.

Decentralizing the government and restructuring.

No group should carry the burden of another group.

piggery in the North?!

I was surprised to see that

thought it was haram
to have pigs there

what stops cattle from transported by rail like it was done bf

it would stop this herdsmen ramming their cattle into the farmland of people

look at how Nigeria was organised

is it a curse to be black
?

if we have delayed independence till maybe the 80s, who knows Nigeria May have been better

The funny thing is they still look like monkeys using machinery left behind by the British.

When the machine spoil, they pack up production.

They could not even wear gloves before moving the meat.

Some were even wearing jewelry. Thank God for the white man. smh!

This picture justifies the reason why this sh!thole should, would & must be broken up. I bet you with buhari's blokos that Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, even China, India, South Korea wasn't more developed than what was shown in that video but where are they today and where are we today? Dubai was even a desert wasteland then, but now all these countries have transformed into great countries in all ramifications while we have remained stuck or even going backwards! The same way the fulanis were herding cattle in the picture is still the same way they are doing it today except that they now use AK47 as sticks to kill those that question them for any damage! If I have access to North Korea's nuclear weapons, God knows I will just nuke this sh!thole immediately!! For those that keep hoping that Nigeria will get better, I have one thing to tell you, YOU ARE DUMB & HOPELESS!!! NIGERIA WILL ONLY BE WORSE IN 20 YEARS TIME!!! What was shown in that pic twas vestiges of what the British left behind and that video showed that competence was the watch-word before Igbos were sacked en mass, the abo.kis then smuggled in federal character and nepotism, and even deliberate state sanctioned policies that will retard the growth of the country so that abo.kis can keep pace!!!
God please scatter this country with immediate effect!!!

The next best thing to the white man is the igbo man but will the monkeys allow him?

No!

Even the things he put together in his land they want to tear it apart. i.e innoson

Had they not gone on igbo killing rampage carefully set up by the imperialist.

Those machinery and industry would have been sustained.

But no, the looters and vultures went about murdering 3 million people with the technological ability to keep the industry going.

soon after that naira collapse and since then, the country have continued to sink, even with oil and gas.

Nigeria discovered oil in commercial quantity at Oloibiri in 1956 and the first oil export was in 1958.

Nigeria is more industrialized today than it has ever been. Dig deeper and you might find a 1960s video of illiterate villagers living in mud huts.
