It can only be EOD if you were Rohr and if it is June already.
TheSuperNerd:

You definitely are somehow... cheesy getting worked up over nothing... Lolll... It is okay... wink

Uhmmmmm, on the GK position, one thing is surely confirmed mister. Dele Aiyenugba is not Russia-bound and not even in the picture. EOD. Now move on from that and let's stick to "reason" here.

I don't see Uzoho beating Ajiboye with what i saw yesterday but Uzoho's height is tempting even Alampasu too,so likely Rohr go for Uzoho.

I am not sure height should be necessary here. Enyeama the best GK that Africa has ever produced wasn't exactly a man-mountain. Casillas, the best GK in the early 2000s wasn't that tall either. Then Oliver Kahn, the best GK ever was hardly taller than 6'1, not exactly tall in this sense

Thanks boss but like I said before, the guys deserve all the credit here they have truly been inspiring. This is why no matter what people say we should always believe in ourselves as Nigerians.

2007 was the era of the Yemi Tella's boys.

Was that not when we played Spain?

Bojan was sent off in the semifinals and didn't play the final, I think he was either tied on 7goals with Chrisantus or he was a goal behind but he never played the final, which was the spanish team's excuse for losing.

Then at the next U20 Ajiboye was not the first choice, and Miranda was leading the line for Spain, Bojan was not invited

Oh I now got your point, while I used Bojan's name? I did that because Bojan was the most troubled when we won. The cam kept showing him off field while the game was ungoing (Finals).

Yes, because anyone can win the league and no one is seen as "giant".

A competitive competition with almost known winners can't be said to be more competitive than another with everyone having equal chance of succeeding.

Being competitive doesn't mean the league is better than the ones with clear winners, but when comparing where you may likely not be able to guess who will win the league from the 20 clubs and not from '6' clubs, then the lower league wins that title.

I can say I understand you, but I don't agree with you.

I addressed this already too. Listed why I had to use his name. The cam kept showing his face in that final game and he cried the most because the card that had him out of the finals was not worth it.

Thats way to go and also think NFF should set up a good system in other to encourage our local coaches to take up more coaching courses for long time purpose.

Buhari Congratulates Home Eagles On CHAN 2018 Semi-Final Win against Sudan
By Johnny Edward

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a congratulatory message to the home-based Super Eagles for reaching the final of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) for the first time, in three appearances at the competition, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.

Nigeria laboured to their first ever final at the tournament, beating Sudan 1-0 in Marrakech on Wednesday. Gabriel Okechukwu scored the only goal of the game in the 16th minute after he raced onto a pass from Anthony Okpotu.

Okechukwu, won the Man-of-the-Match award at the end the game for his sterling performance in his first start at the tournament.

President Buhari tweeted from through his official Twitter handle, congratulating the team and stating that Nigerians are looking forward to the team taking on hosts, Morocco in the final on Sunday. Morocco defeated Libya 3-1 to reach the final.

“Congratulations to the home-based Super Eagles on their CHAN semi-final victory over Sudan tonight. Millions of Nigerians are rejoicing with you tonight, and eagerly looking forward to the final on Sunday. We are proud of you!,” Buhari tweeted via his Twitter handle, @MBuhari.

The Home Eagles have scored seven goals and conceded two in five games in the tournament and will be without Ifeanyi Ifeanyi in the final against Morocco at the Casablanca’s Stade Mohamed V on Sunday evening due to suspension.

And how would you know that? loolll.. 80% of "the team" according to your specific comment means the whole team.... wink

Okay listen, he is already prepping up Uzoho at Deportivo. He has already talked up Ezenwa after Hus performance against Angola. Right now, he will definitely have his eyes on Ajiboye too. He also has Alampasu and Maduka Okoye in mind.

He has also used Akpeyi and may jusssstttt give him a look in but I hope not... the Argentina game was enough for me and the last straw. So he pretty much knows what his GK options should be looking like if or if not Enyeama is in the picture. Aiyenugba is certainly not. Finito.

His decision making is his Achilles' heel.

Against Cameroun in Yaoundé... evident.

Against Angola at the CHAN for that goal due to poor communication with his defender.... evident.

Against Algeria.... evident again.

Against Sudan at the CHAN... cost him his injury. Evident.

Well, he is still a fine Goalie... but has no chance or potential of becoming near world class. He is far from it.

There was this chance in the 2nd half, the striker was under pressure from either osas or Eze, but Ajiboye kept his calm, and made the easiest of saves, if it were Ezenwa that was have been a penalty.

Battle of the goalies

Maduka Okoye, the new kid on the block. 18 years and highly rated in Germany. Great frame for a goalkeeper. Unlikely to be number 1 even if he overcomes the odds and makes the team.

Very unlikely to make the WC team self.

I think there'd be U-20 Qualifiers later in the year, He should start from there.
