Thank u broda, well wishes

No matter how good your IELTS academic module is, you need to rewrite General Training Module with even a better score. GT is the module required for immigration. I see an advantage in you, Academic module is usually more difficult than GT, so if you passed the formal well, the later should be a walk in the park.

You would also.need to.do ECA with WES Canada. Others can weigh in here.

Your USA visa denial should not affect your chances unless you were denied for very serious reasons. Others can also weigh in here to....

In summary, it is a very simple process. You can start now and if God wills, you can be in Canada before year ends...[/quote]

-Yes, I was specifically requested to fill a Schedule A form.
-Since you are not asked to, I don't see why you should. Perhaps you could do what they asked first and then as an addition fill a Schedule A form.

Thanks@cochtrane . I submitted just the LOE yesterday and got an update mail. My medicals also changed to pass. Thanks again

I have plenty people to thank.

Back in 2015 when I first found the Part 1 of this thread and looked into the requirements, especially amount, I just closed the page jeje. Then sometime again late 2016, my husband and I started to look into checking out of this una Naija.

My fellow LVO people, yours will surely come.

Congrats sis. Wishing you and ur family all the best

PLEASE gurus in the house help me evaluate this. Who should be the principal applicant between me and my husband.

Me: Msc in Marketing Comm and freelance writer on Upwork for over one year.

My husband: Bsc in Engineering and over four years experience working for a renowned bank.

Also does self employment count for FSW?

Thanks in anticipation.

After raising CSE, you can tell the person to also reapply (maybe as plan B) if his/her CRS score is high.

The live chat, is it not the one that refers one to the contact us page, and one is given a ticket ID? I actually I used it and it referred me to a customer support unit.

My people please I beg anyone who can to help me out of this puzzle that WES created for me. They evaluated my first degree and a postgraduate certificate which is for a year as below:
Canadian equivalence summary {Bachelor's degree (4 years) and postgraduate diploma (one semester).
I dont understand why that one semester in bracket was introduced . My question is does this qualify for "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees" considering this information below from CIC website:

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees.

Important notice: One must be for a program of three or more years.

ECA assessment results:

A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree

PLUS any of the results in the sections below (not including secondary/high school), or:

Post-Bachelor's Certificate
Post-undergraduate certificate
Post-Bachelor's Diploma
Post-undergraduate diploma
Graduate Certificate
Graduate Certificate with a focus in [area of concentration]
Postgraduate certificate
Postgraduate Diploma
Graduate Diploma with a focus in [area of concentration]
Graduate diploma
two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in [name of discipline]
two-year Bachelor’s after degree with a focus in [area of concentration]
one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]
Dual Bachelor’s degree (four years)

Please I will appreciate advice from you guys. I dont know if anyone has been through this particular situation. This people WES just weak me sha. Honestly. If its two or more certificates, CRS will be around 449 but if not I will be on 422 and by April, 5 pts will be gone from adding a new age. I beg I need help and clarification. Thanks

Please does freelance writing on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork count as work experience? Also will it qualify as full time or part time?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Crystalline24: 10:23pm On Feb 10, 2018
Assuming both of you target a minimum IELTS score LRSW 8777 then the following would apply:

With you as PA , CRS = 445

With your husband as PA , CRS = 423

Hello house,

I need some clarifications to complete my EE Profile. Is it okay to tick two states when completing the 'proposed residential state' section? Secondly, my MSc was for 1.5 years, and the system would not accept the decimal point. Please, how do I resolve this? Should I leave it as 1 or 2 years?

My score currently stands at 409, having scored 7.5,8,7.5,7 (LSRW). I plan to retake and aim for 8777 to make my score increase to 460+.

Thank you.

I'd think it would qualify as self-employed work provided you can associate your job description with any of the NOC A: 5121, 5122, 5123, etc

So I had challenges figuring out how to send scanned copies of my degree certificates to WES during credential evaluation for my Express Entry application. I later found a site, so I thought to put this here if there's anyone with a similar challenge. https://uploadtopost.ca/

Proposed state of settlement doesn't matter for FSW as it would for the Provincial nominee program. I think there's an option for selecting "All Province" can't remember....if it doesn't allow multiple selection, I'd select your most preferred province...don't sweat it as it's inconsequential.

For your second question, I would select one-year. As long it's a Masters degree it has the same CRS score as another Masters program completed in 6-years. Again, don't sweat it...the duration of study would matter if you were in the "two or more certificates" category and both degrees/certificate were less than 3 years....ouch..too many words.

It was a third party sponsor through an agent.. However, the Australian embassy made an investigation and found out the owner wasn't aware of the bank stament being presented to the commission.. Infact the agent
Kept denying it that it was real .... Some couple of months later I got a student visa to UK and came back after my studies ...
I really don't know how to go about the reason for denial because telling them ingenuine bank statement will be a red flag... Abeg make Una help me chook mouth cuz more heads are better than one.

There is nothing more to explain. You have done all the explanation.

Simply tell them that an agent was processing the visa for you and used third party SOA which you didnt know and the owner of the SOA didnt know too. It is better to say the truth than complicate things for yourself again.
