I really really wished the VP could come around to read comments on nairaland about the thread of his, on being possibly the first born again VP.

Mostly after seeing the stances of people about being a born again. Either of these would have happened:
1. To sincerely resign because of his voice that has become dumbest than silence by cooperating with the evil of the day, and because it will soon be judged by history that the so-called born again vice never made any difference whatsoever.
2. To suddenly become awake from this sickening slumber and become a voice and an act that history will have in good record... Because, while not condemning the sacred faith, in the long run, it is not being born again that makes a nation great, it is rather doing the right thing at the right moment in rewriting for the better the story of humanity.

Your faith is personal, but at same time it tends towards being a selfish faith if it becomes polluted by the prevalent political stenches of the day, if you only join them not to make a difference but because you can't beat them.
No one cares about your religion forasmuch you make life better.
