This little shake up shows that a good number of commentators on this forum are traders, not INVESTORS. If you hv bought a stock with good fundamentals what is happening should be a welcome development. It shows some sanity as against gambling mentality is setting in.

The questions continue to be: have the parameters changed? How long can the negative sentiments be sustained? What will happen when majority of the stocks with sound fundamentals get tantalizingly deep within their fair value band?

Those crying crash crash should have a re-think. Global economic dynamics do not lend credence to such predictions. Those buying may well be the ones to sell to the chicken-hearted ones once they imagine the market has rebounded. I can tell you that any emergence of bull for just 3 days is more than enough to change the current narratives

MSCI Position for 12 February 2018

The MSCI position is updated at about 8.30 am the following day except the weekend when it is always updated around Sunday morning.

For now we have to rely on our fundamentals/technical analysis.

You will see MSCI position tomorrow. But, like I said recently we have no option but to start exiting some of our position to prevent losses. We don't have a deep pocket like the big funds. If the funds start selling into this bear, then we will be talking about something else.

It seems normalcy is being restored in the world market but it's still too early, Trump infrastructure plan had an instant impact on todays' trading. My dear Toluway Pls this is absolutely unnecessary. ....U need to learn to hold a grip of ur emotions.
I know currentprice to be a jovial person. ...I dare say u misinterpreted his post.
Pls we don't need to be angry from post expressing different opinions here. ...for that is the real essence behind having a forum like this.
Same thing goes out to others who by one way or the other have felt angered by some post here.
...for If suggestive statements made here could strain ur emotions, then the stock market is not for u.
We must learn how to seive the many post here and align them to our advantage.
Personally, I do not see anything wrong in their post. ...I think its only a call/reminder to be cautious.
However, some might argue that its been overdone, but if anyone thinks that these exterior discussions can influence what goes on in the market, then they had better rethink. ...besides we all have a choice to want to jettison any advice here if u so wish.
...Thats why we say that everyone is the CEO of their portfolio.
Personally I agree that the recent happenings around the world market, and the slight pullback in oil price are factors worth giving some consideration. ...but because I do not see much of a weighty change in the underlying fundermentals, I am relaxing with Mr TIME for some coys, while reducing my holding in others as the need arises.
For me, 'there is'nt much of a big deal'. ...In fact, I see this whole drama as yet another great door of oppurtunity opening up.
We need to learn to see these many divergent views as a call to make us better equiped investors.
