Is the market bearish? How low can the market go?
It appears 90% of guys here are traders. It won't be a bad idea if the market gets lower.

@Currentprice, I'm very annoyed for the way you refer to my name this evening. Please never you make reference to me anymore and I would never make reference to you. What the ..eck do you take me to be? An ignoramus? An illiterate ? I ask a lot of funny questions here, which you don't help out, just because I want to learn the minutest rudiments of the trade, from does of you who happen to be gifted. That doesn't mean that I'm a fool.
Are you saying that I don't know that there is a bull whose end nobody knows? Do you think I can buy the idea that any of you here knows that things will turn out this way or knows what will happen tomorrow ?
Everyone says a lot of things everyday, out of which any can manifest.
I'm so disappointed that you could pick the precise message that I was trying to put across in my several posts asking people, who because they have earlier chickened out, coming to the forum every minute to gloat on other investors emotions, and bring an avalanche of reasons why this is the beginning of amaegedon! Instead of educating people against panick selling as being done in U.S. and our local fora here by experienced traders. Is Currentprice demonstrating that he couldn't read between the lines to pick the essence of my posts but could only feel edified by feeling he could put my sincere principle into derison?
Even as you're appearing to be Oracle's bootlicker, can you tell me you've sold all your holdings?
Can't. ...

Someone mentioned your name, you got angry and criticizing the poster. In the same post, you are mentioning another person's name, indirectly calling others to have chickened out of the market and calling the poster a bootlicker. See your life!

You don't use these emotions in the market. Relax yourself and learn.

Thank you my Oga. Most of them are not prepared in this market. They come for quick profits and when there is market reversal, they get scared.

MSCI Position for 12 February 2018

The MSCI position is updated at about 8.30 am the following day except the weekend when it is always updated around Sunday morning.

For now we have to rely on our fundamentals/technical analysis.

You will see MSCI position tomorrow. But, like I said recently we have no option but to start exiting some of our position to prevent losses. We don't have a deep pocket like the big funds. If the funds start selling into this bear, then we will be talking about something else.

(To the part in bold)
Those who use this as a gauge have now seen that it is always good to know your exit price. Don't be carried away by bullish noise. Once you are content with your gain, jaaaaaaaaaaa. This means controlling your greed!

Those preachers that say "God is coming" should stop preaching abi? Because too much of anything is bad. It is the same way people say this preacher has been saying the same thing for so long and it will become noise. And they don't listen.

I have been there before.

How come we are happy when the prices of the cars or houses we want to buy falls, but not happy when stock prices fall..

If your temperament can't accommodate market correction, bear market, market depression, the best place to invest your fund should be the money market.

You now know why I don't tell people to buy Stocks. There is not easy money anywhere, the stock market inclusive. Know your, master your game, control your emotion, be patient and willing to learn.

It seems normalcy is being restored in the world market but it's still too early, Trump infrastructure plan had an instant impact on todays' trading. In the coming days things will be clearer and NSE will feel the effect. As a retail investor knowing the best time to position in the market would save you lots of " the bear grip",

Oracle hope say you go tell guys when you stand up for your mattress. You don make people vex, better make them happy o.

No be me make dem vex. They are kicking themselves for not selling. Am I the market?

Human minds like anything positive happening to them.

We were not selfish with news. We gave the warnings on time. We warned people not to buy high. We warned people to sell down and convert paper profit to cash. The rest is history.

Market will rise tomorrow (it could be that YOUR MUM IS ON THE ROOF)

You can't " injure " yourself and then you go and sleep and wait for another bull noise before coming out. You will still be gored.

He needs to navigate how to overcome these.

Let me share with all my little knowledge, i hope i will not be called a monkey hunter.

I am not as sophisticated as the TA and FA guys. But what i used to know that there will be a bear is, i went to FT.COM and checked the trend of most stocks in the NSE.

Lets use FBNH as an example, there you can see the 5 to 7 year price movement in a graph and there is something similar in all the years. between November to second week in January there is always a bull. From the second to third week in January the bears appear FBNH normally loses close to 20 to 30% value of the January peak. The bear and the consolidation continues till second week in march then there is a little appreciation of value. till the mark down date. The lowest point is always the mark down date. From march/April the bull will start slowly till mid may where it will peak. From may nothing fantastic will happen till November again where big bull will come.

I checked this trend in several companies they are the same. So expect FBNH to touch N11 or below before rebound. After that is the right time to jump in and plan to exit around may. After may nothing will happen again till November.

All the doubters you can save this and prove me wrong. You can go to ft.com and check what i said, pick any stock you like. I have nothing to loose. But i will be happy if i helped save money for someone.

@johnok the above is an example of what am trying to say. We share info here to help one another. #justsaying

There was a mistake of spelling of my name and the date of birth on my voters card. Has anyone edited his or her voters card B4? I have no other valid ID card. I'm thinking of going to INEC office to make the change Bt I'm not sure if they will do it. Anyone with an Idea?

What irks and still getting me disappointed is the way many of you have been misinterpreting my post. Why do you just want to misinterprete my post because you are already prejudiced? If somebody says something, you think he is pained by the bear.
Up till now, most of you still couldn't realise that I was merely condemning negative propaganda and inciting panic selling. Why? If anyone complained about deliberate propaganda to cause panic selling, you all feel the person is trapped and and the opportunists would begin to say that they did favour and warned people. Even if you warned people, everyone has his own trading style.
Dear and sincere members of the forum, can't you see my point? Please read my posts and make out my specific complaint against Oracle, whom I respect so much, and his bear followers.
You think I haven't seen bear b4? I witnessed 2008, and 2014. What's the big deal. I am not trading stocks for a living yet. I'm a very senior public servant. As a matter of fact, I'm still experimenting for a couple of years b4 my retirement, when I would start putting mouth watering amount of money.
Please let's do away with prejudice. One love.

Instead of UBN go for ETI.
First and foremost they are the only stock listed in NSE with Nominal value of N32naira.

Above all some Arab money bags and other international banks held alot of stake here.

Thank me later.

You think I haven't made a lot of money from the bull? I pumped fund and made a lot of money since last October to January, after erasing my 2014 liabilities. And in this bear, how much has been lost? I haven't lost much money my friend. My chosen stocks are not losing much. To God be the glory. October to January , I will remember for a long time.
