Which DS160 is it that you can't retrieve? The one with which your previous visa was granted or the one with which you are applying and planning to renew the visa? If it's the former, the likelihood is that you are not inputting the figures wells - particularly the zero (0) which can easily be filled in for the letter O and vice versa - or maybe the letters. If it's the current, why not fill another one? But then, you said you printed it before, abi? Check properly what you are inputting then. Regards

Hello my people, twale to lady G, seyewest, ladylco, omobendel, and a host of others that are swiftly answering us here, I am here again to ask more questions regarding my application, I really want to get it right the first, so that's why I am taking my time, I don't want to be in a hurry.
My intention was to visit US with my whole family(4kids..ages10,8,8,1) and hubby as I stated in my previous questions. but having read through thread 1-3, I have seen that so much has been talked about home ties, though hubby and I have good income,
But am thinking if it would be best, hubby and I with our one year old baby should go first this summer thereby using our 3 other kids as home tie, then maybe during Xmas we will apply for the rest of our kids, and then travel as a family.
Or do you we should go ahead and apply as a family,?
Please I really wanna get it right,

@Zimzee I think that was why we were rejected when we applied last year September.We applied with our last baby 1+.She asked how many kids we have and we said 4,she exclaimed 4so why going with just 1?we gave her reasons and she asked other normal questions but we believe it might be the reason for our rejection.Planning to reapply this year though with either all the kids or me and hussy alone.Hope this helps.

Please house, I want to fill another ds160 but I can’t remember the actual day and month I started university and finished. The date I filled in my first DS160 is different from the second one in my ds160, I still remember the year but d day and month i honestly can’t remember, please what do I do?

Applying as a family is your best shot.Dont ever try applying with just a kid leaving the others behind.

For your home ties,your job/business will be responsible for that.

How many years you have been working.

How many years you have been operating your business.

If you are a business owner,who will be incharge of your business during your vacation.

How many staffers do you have.

How long are you staying in the US.

Your income monthly.

The kind of of job/business you are into.

Go with your statement of account should incase the VO ask.

You comportment during interview.

Answering the VO questions confidently.

Filling your DS160 yourself,most of the questions you will be ask will be from there.

Knowing a little about the state you are visiting,and if possible tourist or sight seeing places in that state you intend to visit.

Dress smart,look nice and smell good.

PS : These are just my personal opinion.

hello house. pls I need clarification on something. I applied with my family for b2 visa(childbirth) with different date but I was denied so hubby decide to change his own to b1b2 just to try so d visa fee will not waste. d issue now is after filling another ds160 form, he updated his appointment with d recent application number but my daughter own refuse to change. her old application NBA with b2 info is showing on my hubby updated appointment form & a new one has already been filled for her too. so what do you think hubby should do, go with the old & new confirmation page or just cancel d appointment. we have rescheduled 2x so can't book another appointment.

Call customer service number to help you change your daughter's DS160 Confirmation number from their end, you can't do that one yourself, or you log into the portal and write them from your Dashboard using "Provide Feedback".

I'm trying to schedule an appointment with the US embassy. When filling my personal details, a pop up message keeps saying my details match another user. This is my first time logging on the website. I have never asked anyone to apply for a US visa on my behalf.
How can I correct this?
I sent a feedback with passport bio-data page yet nothing has been done on my case. I'm running out of time. This is really fustrating for me.

reapply after October / the wedding. IMO reapplying before that will get you nowhere. You call shop online, have someone shop for you, shop in Dubai or Nigeria. Endless options. The wedding can also Happen without you. You can visit after the nupitals. Traveling with a man not your husband, both of you are unencumbered and can decide to find love in the arms of citizens.
