bro, in that crs tool, just change that listening 7.5 to 8 and see your marvelous score. It should be 470 ish. Try and rewrite your test to get 8 and above in Listening while other components remain the same.

fizzile:
Hey guys, been a lil bit worried and contemplating on some decisions. As for my profile, i have an overall band of 8.0... Speaking 8.5, Listening 7.5, writing 8.0 and reading 7.5. I have a Masters and am currently 30yrs of age. The issue i have at the moment is that during my work experience, i didnt really receive payslips but direct salary pay.
Please whats the best advice you can give at this moment? I calculated my CRS and it is about 412.

Top of the morning guys!
Pls I need a little clerification, can I use my Corp Acc as a POF as that’s were majority of my money is.

Secondly I studied agric sci but working in the bank can I also use the bank as a work experience since both disciplines differ

Thanks

Question 1. Your company is a separate legal entity from you. I will advise you to transfer the money to your personal account and include proof plus LOE to show the source of the money (i.e your corporate account).

Question 2. Yes, you can.

No, it's certainly not correct. On the other hand, do you have a provincial nomination?

It is possible to have a new date rescheduled when you have a genuine documented case of an extraordinary event that prevented him from getting to the venue to take the test. But simply stating "road blocks" will definitely not fly oh. Thant is not an unforeseen circumstance. Sorry about that.

I know of someone who was rescheduled for the next available date. The case was presented at same day of the exam (towards the COB) at the BC with documented evidence of a genuine reason for missing the test. Hope this helps.

MsLane:
Hello House,

My husband has missed his IELTS test twice.
The traffic on Saturday due to road blocks made him miss his test in Abeokuta.
He was told to go to their Ikoyi office.
Any probability of a change?

Hello sweethearts,

Please I have 2 questions:

1) I didn’t realise I needed a US PCC cos I’ve never lived there only visited (but cumulatively over 6 months). I’ve submitted my application and they’ve asked me to fill an additional travel history form, they didn’t ask for the PCC but I’m working on it and it should be ready by tomorrow (Amen). Question is can I merge it into my travel history document as there’s only travel history placeholder open on my app atm?

2) my deadline to submit travel history is 16/02/2018. No time. Does this mean I have till the end of the 16th, UTC time?

Thank you very much for your responses in advance.

Answer.
1)I'd suggest you submit your PCC (as it'll be ready tomorrow being feb. 14) alongside the additional travel history form. Don't forget to include a detailed LOE as the cover page. In the event PCC gets delayed before deadline, submit the additional travel history form with LOE stating the omission to include PCC in your application and steps you've taken in getting one ( you have to include receipts/stuff as evidence of steps taken)

2) I don't like to bother myself with such nuances. I'll simply submit on the 15th . whether PCC is available or not ( revert to answer 1). You don't even know if there might be a system glitch that period you want to beat deadline. Biko avoid stories that touch.

there is an error in your profile except only if you have a provincial nomination or you are the child of the director of immigration Canada (just kidding grin cheesy). try to recheck and correct your mistake(s) where needed

Oya let's be serious.

You may do an LOE and attach to the travel document, if the PCC is ready, add it but if it not ready as at January 15th, please submit it with evidence that you have applied for it. Subsequently, raise CSE to update your records when the PCC is out. To learn how to raise CSE, Google search :"nairaland raise CSE".

You may still raise CSE for the PCC after attaching it to the travel history form (to make you sleep well at night).

I would rather you do not wait till the last moment to submit so I advise you forget about your second question.

Hello good people,
Trust you are all doing well. I was wondering if anyone could help a friend put her mind at rest by answering this question.
Her passport was issued in London and one of the questions while filling the EE profile form is country of Issue. I imagined the country of Issue would be London, England/UK but the options are quite different than she hoped. Can you please tell me which of the options applies to her. The picture of the options is attached. Many Thanks.

Country of Issue is Nigera. Place/issuing authority is London. Country of Issue is the country of the Passport. Place/authority of issue is where the passport was issued.
Cheers

Good evening my people. Our able seniors in the house, pls I'm in a situation that is not in anyway clear to me right now. It has to do with dependent children's eligible age.
I have a step daughter who's 23yrs old, a fresh university graduate, waiting to go for NYSC soon. Now my dilemma; I understand that she doesn't qualify to be included in our application as the age limit for a dependent child is set at 22 by CIC, now my concern is do we put her name any where on the application? If we do, is she going to do medicals and PCC? Is the POF supposed to cover her considering that she's not a dependant? NB: I have put in for student visa application before and she was listed as dependent child(2013), though the visa application was denied. Pls my people, help me torchlight the matter. Thanks in anticipation of your responses

According to IRCC, children qualify as dependants if they meet both of these requirements:

* they’re under 22 years old, and
* they don’t have a spouse or partner.

OR

Children 22 years old or older qualify as dependants if they meet both of these requirements:

* they have depended on their parents for financial support since before the age of 22, and
* they are unable to financially support themselves because of a mental or physical condition.

Anyway, if you are sure that your step-daughter is no longer a dependent child, then she doesn't need to do medicals and PCC. You will include her details under the family section when you get an Invitation to Apply. There is a question under that section that says: "Please tell us about XXXXX's immediate family members that have not been identified in the application. This includes any parent, any spouse or common-law partner, any child including adult children, and any brothers or sisters. If the relative is deceased, provide the date of death".

Hello everyone, Pls I need a little help. Actually I have like 500 questions but let me ask two first grin

I have 3 kids. two kids who are u.s citizens and one a Canadian. (By birth) will I need to apply for them? Will they still be required to do Medicals?

I have to get pcc from 6 countries in which I'm still figuring out how to get them one by one. (Maybe by 2020 I go don collect am finish) im hoping to request for all pcc at onceGiven the time of expiry. If by event I'm unable to get one (or 2) can I just explain and show proof that I tried all my best to get them?

I'm thinking once I get 4 out of the 6 pcc I should just dive.
Thank you

If one submits a certificate of fixed deposit as a POF, is one required to still submit a reference letter from the bank and/or an SOA?
