US oil output surge 'reminiscent' of run-up to 2014 crash PARIS (AP) -- A leading energy watchdog says that the boom in U.S. oil production is reminiscent of the rise in output that eventually led to the 2014 crash in crude prices. - Not trying to scare anyone...lesson to self...makes sense when they say invest only what you can afford to lose/have a long term mindset. - Remember, the vulture is a patient bird - the market has always perfected a way of taking back what it gave...we must learn to be eneke the bird. 1 Like |

ukay2: Cash is king. Better to use your cash to buy. If you are trapped in the market, you can't offload your paper gain and the stock may reset to the price you bought earlier and Yiu will only resort to getting more funds from outside to buy rather than using super gains( assuming you sold during the rise) you have made to buy more units. Where this happens, you will be calculating how much you would have had as units if you had cashed in on the paper profits. 1 Like 1 Share |

ukay2: I am in the market with my two legs. Arranging for some loans to pick some good stocks at a fair price. Most of what you hear here are noise as long as you are your own man. Oil price is the koko, and the last time we had this kind of discussion, someone actually brought a graph that showed a direct correlation between oil price and the NSE. We have got to keep our eyes on it and aling our strategy accordingly. 2 Likes |
