...bear is good, it enables us to get our targeted stocks at a fair price. Now NSE index is just about to get to the trading zone (or equilibrium as some will like to call it) where more buyers will come into the market. Watch out for rejection candles (Pin bar, bullish engulf etc) with rise in volume around the highlighted zone. That is the BULL!
grin grin grin grin grin
If not the big bear's we poor man can't have up to 1000 units of any good stock .

I would say watching... People are still watching. We need to know EIA report today and this gist about interest hike. Investors can keep buying shaaa while traders are waiting.

Make market crash to a level i go buy GTB for 8.00, Zenith for 6.00, UBA for 2.8........i will buy millions of unit in these companies and retire from my work.....
Brother go and look for the money now and keep it must crash befor 2018 end but you can't get GTB&ZENITH at that price .You may get UBA @#2.50 that time .
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by 2zona(m): 11:49am On Feb 14, 2018
Access bank... about to explode. i just hope they don't want to pump and dump while UBA still rigmaroles.

What a market! I can see huge volume trades in some stocks
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Coolcash1: 11:51am On Feb 14, 2018
The four days bear tested our resilience, tolerance, patience and depth of our investment. For those of us who did our research and invested in quality stocks it was an opportunity to load more e.g. honey well flour, dangote flour, GTB, uba etc But to those who invested purely on follow-follow basis, they lost their peace, panicked and hoping a higher power will bail them out... grin It was like their world crumbling before them... grin

Emmanuel, i owe you a lot of appreciation. After reading the book you recommended, it has helped me to change my investment style and BETTER manage my emotions...

Though critics might argue that its still early days to conclude that the bulls are around but at least market is gradually recovering and as long as one's portfolio consists of fundamentally strong stocks there is no reason to press the panic button.

Thanks BBM.

However this isn't a true correlation.

There are some parts they move off together, there are some parts NSE deviates from the oil price.
...not sure you can always have 100% correlation, >60% is a good correlation by market standard

Imagine those who bought at 11.10 yesterday, timing is key in this market

And a little bit of luck, timing your entry at the lowest price just before a rally is extremely difficult

Exactly, LUCK plays a major role cos trying to get the bottom price is always difficult, yesterday i had money in my account and was just starung at access bank and uba while at their lows but fear didnt allow me enter access at 11.15. I mustered little courage to buy a bit of UBA and still left some cash idle.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Dwizeone: 12:03pm On Feb 14, 2018
Not necessarily the lowest price, when there is a reversal and you get a bargain at a low price is good enough. Emotions get the better part of traders, most times they don't buy low and later join the bus for fear of missing out.

Speaking of bonus scripts; Aliko is not a fan of bonus scripts but i'd say there is a case for this at Dangflour. Profits are better recapitalized in my opinion.
