You better bring that money from under mattress back to nsem from the danger of swallow snakes. This breed of Nigerian snakes can enter anywhere. I don say my own.

But you too like money. You want to be seeing that money and sleeping with it instead of madam. Are you Igbo? grin

Oil @ $64.88.
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Shale-Industry-May-Finally-See-Some-Profits.html

"The bottom line from WoodMac is that the shale industry, by and large, will become profitable this year if WTI stays at about $60 per barrel. If WTI sinks below $50, however, they will continue to burn through cash."

With this oil price will have to stay between $50-60 for everyone to be happy, Russia, USA, Nigeria, SaudiArabia, etc. in all prices at $50 isn't a bad price for Nigeria economy though more upside is positives. Foreign reserves increasing, Inflation figures going down. Outlook for our Economy this year is bullish...few weeks of bears should not derail our targets. As one says here Mr Time will tell...

Couple of things:

6. Emotional and Momentum investing typically leads to PANIC at the earliest onset of a reversal in fortunes. If you do not know why you are in, you will not know why you should stay in.

Best wishes to all.
Your last statement nailed it. So on point.

With due respect, you don't need to tell someone to stop pointing out what he sees in other stocks. To the best of my knowledge, the same ihedi was shouting for people here to buy FBNH when it was around N3 last year and I am very sure those that heeded the advice are better placed now.

Freedom to say what one sees should be encouraged here, that is why we formed the quorum.

Yesterday's bull caught a lot people unaware.
Thing is, nobody knows what time has in stock. We can only speculate and predict with the information at our disposal (TA, FA)

When we offer our opinion, we need to be constructive. I love guys who gladly share what they know without subjecting people to emotional swings. People like BearBullMkt, Fxuser, Pa Emma, deserve a medal.

Yesterday, BBM dropped a post yesterday and before the close of the day, market has changed gear for good. Call it sheer luck or coincidence but I 've observed this coincidence couple of times. I wish to get to a point where my posts can actually help people make sound decisions.

Let's see what the rest of the week holds.

Key lesson; sometimes you need to obey your inner voice. This has worked for me most of the time.

Let's go fishing. Money beckons.

That should be a good thing. Why pay dividend when you need the capital?

MSCI MOVEMENT FOR 14 FEBRUARY 2018/GENERAL MARKET COMMENT

Fund continue selling, but less quantity than the previous day. Another observation is that the fund moved some cash out of the portfolio.

Therefore, if you read in about one or two months in a newspaper that MSCI reduced exposure to the Nigerian Stock market, that would be news that is dead and already buried.

Caution: This information is for educational purpose only. It is not an investment advise.
