Thing is, nobody knows what time has in stock. We can only speculate and predict with the information at our disposal (TA, FA)

When we offer our opinion, we need to be constructive. I love guys who gladly share what they know without subjecting people to emotional swings. People like BearBullMkt, Fxuser, Pa Emma, deserve a medal.

Yesterday, BBM dropped a post yesterday and before the close of the day, market has changed gear for good. Call it sheer luck or coincidence but I 've observed this coincidence couple of times. I wish to get to a point where my posts can actually help people make sound decisions.

Let's see what the rest of the week holds.

Key lesson; sometimes you need to obey your inner voice. This has worked for me most of the time.

So banks will reduce Dividend payouts to meet the Minimum Capital Adequacy.

We should watch-out for banks in this categories.

It might affect diamond bank. I said might, because diamond bank commenced the process of divesting from its international assets with a view to becoming a national bank. If they have completed the divestment, then they will not fall into the category. But in any case, we are not expecting dividends from diamond. All we want is bumper profit and capital appreciation.

With due respect, you don't need to tell someone to stop pointing out what he sees in other stocks. To the best of my knowledge, the same ihedi was shouting for people here to buy FBNH when it was around N3 last year and I am very sure those that heeded the advice are better placed now.

90% of the people are traders not investors and they don't trade for dividend.. the restriction is a good thing. Once again why pay dividend when you need the money ? Now how many of you will leave your money in those banks because of dividend and sleep well? How much are they even paying ? Please let them keep it.. Give us good results and we be good..
