I am in IQAS drama o, its been since dec 22 that they received all my documents, which is 2 months too , i just received my second email this week, it does not have an online portal to be checking updates.

Let’s not take issues personal. The fact that you don’t know or think people can get from visa from 9ja doesn’t make it impossible.

I am not sure there is anything wrong with what she typed. In fact, i think it is a genuine advice. It is quite difficult to get a work visa if you are not getting a post study permit. She only hinted her so they are 100% sure about what they are doing. My advice to them is they should wait for the husband to get a job offer then apply for perrmanent residency. With that, they will get more points and won't need POF. it is just a waiting game for them.

Biko, on to more pressing conversations: For those of us that have registered for IOM sessions, what did you upload in the field for Proof of Eligibility? Seeing that application is still in process with just UCI and Med passed.

-an IRCC invitation letter to obtain pre-arrival services, or
-a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter/document, or
-a passport request letter that indicates Permanent Resident visa issuance, or
-an IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete medicals, or
-a Single Entry Permanent Resident Visa, or
-a Permanent Resident Visa pick up notification letter.

@popowaa please my advice is that don't do dependant thing o.. serious long thing. I will suggest you guys do the PR thing. he gets more points for job offer and you guys won't need to show proof of funds. get married, write your exams, he should write his, do your eca and get into the pool. it is way faster than doing that dependant thing for a work visa sponsor and you don't get benefits of a PR.. those benefits are mind blowing if you ask me.

The lady said her fiancé got a job- not job offer- their wedding is in 3 months, but they both want to travel together in September.

She wanted to know how to go about her own visa as her fiancé s own is sorted.

If you want to know how her hubby did it, send her a direct messege and ask, not some indirect way of asking questions all in the name of responding to questions

Difficult situations and not always impossible.

I really don’t care if you choose not answer any question anymore. There are several other people on this platform.

I am still trying to find out where happytbaby went wrong with her post. Please, if it's the "we" that is the problem with the post change it to "I". Saying it's difficult leaves the floor open to anyone with idea on how the poster can overcome to comment and someone did give her an option of PR if it to comes a level where she doesn't get the help she requires, which is what people that wants to help do. Actually, it's important she answers questions as she is part of the "goose that lay golden eggs" here, making the thread enriching.
