Absolutely nothing. If she chose to misread it, that's on her, not happytbaby.
ctrlunlimited:
Well, you almost made it one (fight) with your response. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her reply.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by Newmum0615: 11:56am On Feb 16, 2018
I am still trying to understand your reaction to her posts. Abeg, don't create an issue where there is none. Na beg I dey beg. #Okbye.
mrsJustveryOkay:
@newmum0615, it is not a fight o.

But I personally do not appreciate the tone of her message to the lady since inception.

See the bolded. Who are the "we"? If she does not have info, she does not have to respond to all questions on this forum.

That is just my point

grin I see where you're coming from sis.. Like she's speaking for the whole of the thread as per Class Captain..

Please I'm joking about the class captain part o..

@happytbaby relax it has not reached. Which one is the announcement of refraining from answering questions again cheesy You're well within your rights sha.

And truly because people rarely get work visas from Nigeria doesn't make it impossible.

I have received the info I needed.
Thanks
He will file for me as a dependent
I'm glad you've found the information you needed but I'm curious as to how your fiance got a work visa. Did he go for an interview? Go for medicals? How did he get the job? Etc

At least for iqas I won't have to deal with verification drama. Once I get the acknowledgement email I know I'd be done...

Fuzzyman:
I am in IQAS drama o, its been since dec 22 that they received all my documents, which is 2 months too , i just received my second email this week, it does not have an online portal to be checking updates.
I don't know which one is better cool

Happytbaby, free this lady abeg.

If you cannot solve her problem, pls don’t compound it.

She didn’t ask you to tell her if her partner’s job/visa is valid or authentic.

Let’s not take issues personal. The fact that you don’t know or think people can get from visa from 9ja doesn’t make it impossible.
I am not sure there is anything wrong with what she typed. In fact, i think it is a genuine advice. It is quite difficult to get a work visa if you are not getting a post study permit. She only hinted her so they are 100% sure about what they are doing. My advice to them is they should wait for the husband to get a job offer then apply for perrmanent residency. With that, they will get more points and won't need POF. it is just a waiting game for them.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by bigfido: 1:12pm On Feb 16, 2018
@popowaa please my advice is that don't do dependant thing o.. serious long thing. I will suggest you guys do the PR thing. he gets more points for job offer and you guys won't need to show proof of funds. get married, write your exams, he should write his, do your eca and get into the pool. it is way faster than doing that dependant thing for a work visa sponsor and you don't get benefits of a PR.. those benefits are mind blowing if you ask me.

Difficult but not impossible...

Please lets move on from the issue... Anyone who can help the lady should please do so.

Biko, on to more pressing conversations: For those of us that have registered for IOM sessions, what did you upload in the field for Proof of Eligibility? Seeing that application is still in process with just UCI and Med passed.

-an IRCC invitation letter to obtain pre-arrival services, or
-a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter/document, or
-a passport request letter that indicates Permanent Resident visa issuance, or
-an IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete medicals, or
-a Single Entry Permanent Resident Visa, or
-a Permanent Resident Visa pick up notification letter.

Thanks.

Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen says he will present a plan in April to kill an outdated policy that excludes immigrants based on medical condition, but the NDP wants the government to act with greater urgency to end the discriminatory clause. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/immigration-hussen-medical-inadmissibility

This might be of interest to some of us especially the parent of the baby with ASD recently dicussed here.
I pray Allah show them mercies, guide their path and grant our heart desires.

I think you need to read @popowa first post.

The lady said her fiancé got a job- not job offer- their wedding is in 3 months, but they both want to travel together in September.

She wanted to know how to go about her own visa as her fiancé s own is sorted.

@happytbaby,
If you want to know how her hubby did it, send her a direct messege and ask, not some indirect way of asking questions all in the name of responding to questions

Difficult situations are NOT impossible.

I really don’t care if you choose not answer any question anymore. There are several other people on this platform.

Thank you for staying quiet

I am still trying to find out where happytbaby went wrong with her post. Please, if it's the "we" that is the problem with the post change it to "I". Saying it's difficult leaves the floor open to anyone with idea on how the poster can overcome to comment and someone did give her an option of PR if it to comes a level where she doesn't get the help she requires, which is what people that wants to help do. Actually, it's important she answers questions as she is part of the "goose that lay golden eggs" here, making the thread enriching.
