That's good. Do remember to contact ACCA to send your official transcript to WES.

Best of luck in your final papers.

Inception12:
I've already got the certificate and sent it WES via hellofax. It's as simple as getting it from myacca so no trouble there.

The pass rates for all 3 papers(4,5 and 7) are roughly the same. It took me time and after lenghty consultations, i settled on those 2. It will end in praise am sure.

Welcome and thanks for coming out of silent reader mode grin.

What is the score exactly? The last few draws have all be less than 450. You should be the principal applicant because your age gives you more points. Also, aim to score higher than 8777. This is one point people often forget. if you score higher in Ielts you get a few more points.

Lol.thank so much.i will try as much as I can Godhelp me.

I can’t say this is a fair statement at all.

I’ve been in several forums, but this is the first time I am seeing people judge others for reasons best known to them.

Tbh, I think I everyone deserves help here.

Even if they ask you to spoon feed them, if you don’t want to do it then dont. Plus speaking about “new members” here like they are little children is quite derogatory tbh.

The kindness you show to someone will be appreciated and even if it’s not. God sees our hearts.

I understand your point of view. But we need to be fair with everyone here. Thank you.

Newmum0615:
That's what we are seeing these days with our new family members. And we keep encouraging them. I miss Elfmann in times like these. No one is doing a bit of research anymore. It's just give me answer urgently we are getting. Let us continue. The days of pointing to page zero is now over. Not saying people shouldn't ask questions, but it's easier to guide someone who has a fair idea of what he/she is doing because of a little research. Guys, page zero works like magic. Some people here selflessly made generic info available there. The least we can do is appreciate the effort by reading through. We are happy to help with some sort of validation or guidance. I have had to stay up some nights and even during work hours to help people out with NOC issues because I have seen the effort they put into sorting out the issue themselves (happytbaby, if I hear pim ehn). Read a little and give the people you are asking questions something to work with. If we didn't do research, we wouldn't have answers. Mcstan18 had not even started his process fully, but he had started answering questions here like an 'elder'. Because he took the time to understand the process by himself.

With all that said, please remember that the CIC website remains the one stop shop for valid info for this journey
Nuff said. Over & out.

Judge you how?

You deserve help... as if it's your right and the people that provide the help are obligated to serve you.
Care has been taken to highlight a page Zero, filled with all the pieces of information you need and will ever need in the course of this journey. You don't read it, the thread is growing at an alarming rate and you say someone is judging another. You ain't fair with your statement either.
Like Canadianfly stated, some of the information you are reading is not totally correct and the information is right in your face.
Help yourself so others can help you also.

Cheers!

I did my own IELTS payment in the banking hall (Zenith Bank) as when I tried to pay online I got an invalid account number error. Just make sure the account number is correct and you do the transfer through any of their recommended banks...hope this helps

coolangel54:

Going to the banking hall to make transfer payment for IELTS since I don't have a mobile app, is it advisable? I am contemplating doing this because I can't go to Benin with the bank draft cos of distance barrier for now. Please, elders advise.

They've been several fights on this forum because of this issue. I'v been following this thread since the first one and this is quite a delicate matter. What Newmum is saying basically is Newbies please READ,READ,READ especially page 0. I personally feel it's wrong to just jump into a thread and click on page 200 and start asking questions. Atleast read page 0 na then 1,2 and maybe page three. It makes it easier for all of us and also slows down the way the thread keeps running else by the end of this year we would have had up to thread 20 with basically repitition of same questions and answers. You feel me? Just my 2 cents though. Cheers.

Julie2018, I quite understand your point here but if everyone can take their time to read page 0 or even do a bit of research, it would be for the benefit of all... Besides no one works for CIC here (as far as i know).

The Process is tedious and i dont think anyone knows it all but lets encourage new members to do a little bit of research and reading too.

Julie2018, i understand that some people don't process information as fast as others do.
However, the last four or five pages have been filled with some questions that are totally unnecessary.
For example, someone asking how to pay for WES or IELTS etc. Someone even asked the other day which bank is good for POF. I almost died when i read it.
It shows they've simply refused to read either the information on the website or this thread.

I gathered information here simply from reading.
Sometimes, when i don't understand something i go back to the website to read, i come back here i read. I use the search bar a lot.

Please nobody should feel judged or bad. The truth is always bitter.

Good afternoon everyone. Please how long does it take to get a response from CIC when one inquires about the visa office processing the application. Thanks

It depends. I got a response within 30 minutes. Some got theirs in 2 hours, some days or even weeks. Try to send the message during the working hours (Ottawa time).

I still need a little clarification here.
Firstly....
Under work history, am i to include all previous employment apart from the one am claiming points for?

Let me be a bit clearer, i worked in company A for 3 years ( 2009-2012 ), then went for my Msc during which i worked with the school computer center 2 year ( 2013-2015). It was a par-time graduate assistant position. Although i work 9 hours a day monday to friday. finally came back and join company A in 2015 till date.
Work experience with company From 2015 till date gives the max point. Can i just fill this in my EE profile and leave the rest till i get ITA.

Secondly....

Under education, i am to fill all formal education acquired or just the one i have ECA for? i have ECA for just my Msc.
thank you.

kindly ignore my writing ooo na 6.5 i get for ielts grin grin grin grin grin grin

@mcstan18
@glitteringstar

Let me make an attempt.
- Yes. Since you had two stints at Company A, I assume they'll include both in your reference letter. Claim the maximum 3 years as you wish pre-ITA. You may then proceed to include the rest (including Company B) experience in your personal history post-ITA

- The excerpt from the site says:
"Enter the highest level of education for which you:
earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or
had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)"

Note the bolded. So, I think you're fine with what you have.
I hope these answer your questions.

Even this page zero we are referring people to.
It is suppose to the whole thread. From Part 1, 2 and then this current one.
From reading from Part 1, i was able to not only gather information, but i got samples of documents
i'll need for my own process. I also read examples of people with similar situations as mine.

Please lets read read and read.
Anyone who feels offended should learn to read.

By the time you've read,a lot of your questions will be answered.

Incorrect, its available Four months after disengagement and the rest is locked till you retire and you are 50years. Check Section 7(2) of the PRA 2014 for further guidance.
I stated the info I stated in my LOE, every1 got their plans, resigning after PPR, money available during the 6 months before landing. A colleague got his 25% after 13 weeks of resigning.
And the rest is available, even if you're not up to 50 but have relocated permanently from Nigeria. A friend just got his after applying that he doesn't want to come back to Nigeria again, He's not 50 yet. So the Law is one thing, it's applicability is another.
