Thanks bro. We both filled the form and all that. He’s just mad at the way i talked to him about the whole thing. My big headache now is that if i fill another form, does that mean i have misrepresented?

Can i apply alone ? or should apply as a family since we already have the travelling experience ? .

No since it's same conference and same Bio background u are using, the changes there is only where u are staying in U.S and contact info which is not an issue tho!

@petemail2all maybe because she switched, all her immediate family she is inviting get affected, probably go on your trip without attaching yourself to her, its over 10years already, they shouldn't put much weight on that. Reapply when u have changes (anytime)

1. There are punitive measures for people who abuse their visas. I have noted that when asked how someone's relative entered the US and the answer was that the person entered, through an NIV Visa and remained in the US, the next thing is rejection.

2. I also noticed that having long work experience and/or strong finances, can overcome 'virgin passport' syndrome.

The consular didn't ask many questions else he was interested in what I do. He was friendly and we even joked.

He told me congratulations, gave me white paper but said my visa might take up to a week because there was a mark that I've visited the US before for studies which I never did.

He also said it happens but they just need to do some checks.

He told me congrats again when I was leaving.

What do you think of this ?
