Your sister should just accept her mistake, forgive herself and move on while ensuring that she never make such mistake again. That is already a fixed deposit that she cant change and all other options (like revenge) will only make her life and future miserable.
Please note that We all make mistake in life but hers may just be more stupid than others but as long as she's still alive, she can still get it right in life far than others....so, encourage her; stand by her!
