The truth is that any man that dates a lady for more than a year without engaging her, should be considered unserious and clueless like our dear president

Before u made this hasty conclusion, did u also consider the harsh Nigerian economy that has made so many able bodied young men dependent on their friends and family even at 40yrs and those who can't even feed 3 times a day talkmore of feeding additional human being called wife

That's because he doesn't have anything to lose. Dating is a minimum of 1 year. I don't want to take something I'll have to send back.

I kind of agree with her, although their own two months is too early in my own opinion. But the point is that guys should learn to be more serious with their life and be sure of what they want.They should stop wasting girls time because of their indecisiveness and nonchalant attitude.

there are guys who truly love and want to settle down with their girlfriends, but their pocket isn't encouraging them, what do u have to say about this

We as a people, we as citizens of Nigeria should collecticely strive to improve the standard of living in Nigeria where well paid job and businesses will be available for those ready to work, so that young men can have the financial backup that will encourage them to go into marriage instead of persuading every man to marry whether he's doing well financially or not thereby giving birth to innocent kids that won't be well cared for.

We should strive to get our leadership right so we can have the best hands as our leaders to make good policies that will activate our national economy.

Many Nigerian guys of marriageable age are single out of financial frustration, make a research and u will find out.

Congratulation, but my advise to many out there is not to get carried away with such news , she refused to tell us how many and how long his man dated other girls and eventually not marriage them. The fact that her man married her off immediately does not mean he did not date other girls for years which he eventually not marry, so be grateful God and only boast in the Lord.

There are no rules to marriage. There are no guarantees that courting for ten years will guarantee a long marriage neither does courting for two days mean you will divorce in six months

You make sense but I believe if both of you truly want to be together you can opt for registry which is very cheap,pay her bride price and get at least a room and parlor self then start your life..you can always do a lavish wedding ceremony latter.

Nothing wrong with 2months courting. The time span for courting shouldn't be the key factor, as in many cases it has proven not 2be the yardstick for determining the success of matrimony or happiness.

Many people can easily identify who their wife is from their first day meeting. This could have been her case. I quite agree with the lady.
If I have the signs clear and certain from within- with a lady we both clearly in love. If its possible, I can marry her in days.
What's the point procrastinating with frivolities like " planning elaborate ceremonies, millions in bank account, studying her like university course etc."
Don't know what y'all consider as rush in..rush out...fact and events of life..of practical life is a better teacher in the school of life.

my brother, its not just the cost of the wedding that's scaring most guys, I think its the cost of living after the wedding....taking care of the kids that will follow after the wedding. I am sure every man can afford wedding cost but living cost after wedding scares most with how jagajaga Nigerian economy is today.

Most learned and sensible guys don't want to give birth to kids they know they can't give good standard of living, that's the issue. I have had interactions with lots of guys on this subject and their responses were disheartening.

If u are doing well and arrogant that u don't socialise or go close to struggling people, u won't understand what these struggling people are passing through.

To ladies, na to marry....they don't care how its going to be after wedding cos they know its the mans headache to bear lol

Yeah, it happens. Guys who are serious dont have time for that long relationship crap. 6 years of dating and u guys are still bf and gf. Fighting, arguing, ignoring each other for weeks/months, drag un necessary things, and at the end dump each other.

Majority will tell u they want to study the lady, study a lady from now till eternity, they will always have the bad side which u need to cope with.

she met that calamity doesn't mean you are the best for her or "it wouldn't have happened if she married you". ladies are generally annoying, its very few in men that don't raise their hands up on their wife when being vexed. One slap na beating too.

Is it her study? She should move on already, her ex has moved on since.

Good lady. You know what you want and the guy knows what he wants too.
The marriage looks destined to succeed because the two people involved have direction, not time wasting ladies who will still be thinking about it after three months.
