5 Lessons From Linda Ikeji's Success Story. by technuel: 6:25am On Mar 17, 2018
When you talk about the smart Entrepreneurs who have maximized the advantages and opportunities created by the arrival of information age Linda Ikeji must be mentioned. If you talk about smart Bloggers who have made fortune through dot com boom and lifestyle Linda Ikeji’s name is there. Linda Ikeji makes a digital money and not an analogue money which many Nigeria Billionaires are familiar with. Therefore if in the next ten years you hear that Linda Ikeji is the richest woman in Africa don’t be surprise. But Behind Linda Ikeji’s mouth watering Success stories are heaps of stories of hard times she faced to be where she is currently is. If you are aspiring to be like Linda Ikeji or you have made her your role model here are the 5 Lesson you must learn from Linda Ikeji’s Success Story.
1. With Patience you can Climb up the highest mountain:

When it comes to having patience to nurture ones dream to reality Linda Ikeji has the golden key. In case you don’t know Linda started as far back as 2005 just a year after Facebook was launched and guess what during this era blogging was regarded as nothing. Many people would have dumped blogging since nobody regards it but what did she do she continued. Day in day out she Is constantly updating her blog with fresh news and gist and luckily for her her her blog traffic began to grow but the problem now is that she can’t earn a penny with her blog and this continued for over four years. Wow what a patience, what ever you are out to do and it is worth doing do it whether you are earning or not at the present surely in the future you will be rewarded handsomely. Many people have quited just few metres away from their breakthrough and they have in the process wasted the years they invested in the project.

2. Passion is the key to Entrepreneurship Success:

The secret of Linda Ikeji’s patience was because she has passion for what she is doing. Passion is like a fuel that energises us and gives us the zeal to accomplish a task, whenever it is missing I am sorry you might need just the grace of God to survive. With passion desert was turned to city, with passion business that started with nothing grew into Business empire. Passion simply means having fun and making money to me this is the best way to make money. So you can just cross check and ask your self whether you have passion for the field of endeavour you find your self in, if you find out you have no passion for your career you might just consider changing your career path because you might just be wasting your time trying to make an impact. Linda’s passion for blogging is unquenchable even till today she still derives a lot of joy blogging and you can see where it has landed her into.

3. Don’t be Afraid to start Small:

The big Media empire Linda has today stated with just a Laptop and an internet connection. One of the problem with many prospective entrepreneurs is that they are waiting for a time when they will be giving a 1 Million naira grant to start their business and they keep waiting for that day and people who started with nothing are already on their way to owning a business empire. Start from where you are and don’t procrastinate, if you want to start a blog and you have no Laptop borrow a laptop from your friends and set up your blog then start blogging with your phone. The truth is that many business empire we clap for today started with nothing.
4. She Maximized an Opportunity provided by the dot com Lifestyle:

There is this my friend that loves complaining bitterly about the situation of the country and I sat him down and inspired him to stop thinking about the problem but the solution. Think about the opportunities available within your locality, Linda Ikeji saw the opportunity provided by the dot com boom and she banked on it and today she is heading one of the biggest New Media Firm in Africa and one of the Richest Female bloggers in Africa. The reason while many people are not rich today is because they failed to utilise the opportunities made available to them and the wise investors did and are smiling to the bank.

5. It Pays to be an Entrepreneur:

People who started working for Government or private organisation at the same time Linda Ikeji stated her business cannot measure up with her now but in times of fame, financial freedom and accomplishments. I always tell people that the best hood you can do yourself in the 21st century is to become an Entrepreneur because the possibility of you been retrenched or your salary cut down drastically is 80% so Linda Ikeji showed us that it is rewarding to be an Entrepreneur.

Lol.. True sha.. This time, it takes more than passion to make it as a blogger. You need to be business inclined cause the world of blogging is now a war zone of competition.
