Nothing is wrong with you grieving. I think it is d beginning of the healing process.

Take time to really cry out your pains, shed the bitter tears, let go of the bitter part of the pains, try to be less emotional when thinking about him, and accept the fact that he's gone. At times we feel relief after crying than trying to fight back tears.

Hahahahahaha!! Yes i laugh!! I laugh at your ungrateful nature, you don't know 'pains'. "Pain" is loosing your father the same day you turn 10, pain is growing up hearing everyone say "My daddy did this" "My daddy did that", pain is learning everything a father should teach a son from the streets and random strangers, pain is watching other boys complain about their fathers and secretly wishing for their father/son issues. My guy be grateful you had a father for so long because some of us will give anything to know what it feels like to have a father.......

welcome to the Fatherless club.....i was very close to my dad, and I have the following rules.
1. you don't overcome grief.....you only manage it. with time, it gets easier.
2. sometimes, when you're alone, you remember something and feel like crying. Don't try to be a man. Cry it out ! it helps
3. Try and arrange the funeral as quickly as possible. grief reduces dramatically after this
4. Get busy. Devote more time to ur career and family. be around them.

So sorry for your loss. I've been there. it's not easy

Rule 1: Learn how not to share share your pains or seek comfort on social media
Rule 2: Understand that death is a necessary end and the more you celebrate it by being emotional, the more you empower its stings
Rule 3: Stop seeking for comfort. Rather comfort others. In it lie your strength to pull through. The season wont last forever. Its just a few weeks/days of emotional surge

Take time to cry bro

Let the tears flow freely. Cry cos dad is gone. Remember memories you have shared and how good he was and cry even more.

Like you are doing right now. Share your feelings with a pal that can share of the pain. Don't hold back the tears while sharing.

Tears have a way healing broken hearts. It is nature's way of letting out your pains.

No it doesn't mean you are not strong. It means you are ready to let go

I am sorry about the loss.
It's usually painful when u loose a loved one.
Heartbreak from a lover is hard how much more a loss of life.
Seek solace and strength from God's Word and live a better life because the message from this event is that someday will be ur turn.
For now brace up and make the best out of ur life.

I lost mine in '07 & it was a painful experience. You'll be fine with time.

Cry anytime you need to cos it helps. You guys should try & bury him as quickly as possible cos the interment brings closure.

Make sure you show your mum lots of love right now cos she's the most affected.

The pain doesn't go away, especially if you were close to him. You eventually learn to live with it until it hurts no more.

Fighting it only makes it harder. That's my experience.

People deal with bereavement in different ways....... If you are finding it difficult to cope emotionally, a couple of bereavement counselling sessions might be helpful.....

It's a phase, that would naturally pass.......

Death is a necessary end to every mortal. Lost my sweet mum suddenly close to 2 yrs ago while i was undergoing a program in Australia. My world virtually collapsed and worsened by the fact i had no family close by. I lost my voice for 3weeks.

Op, only time will reduce the pain u feel, but it can't heal u. Just be consoled by the memories of the times u guys shared together. Its well.

Sorry for the loss, its a normal experience but with time you will over come it.
This is where you start transforming from man to full blown man. You have to be prepared to be a man, protect his family because the mantle has fallen on you.
Be there father and brother, be your mum husband and son. Be willing and ready to fill his vacuum.

you need a lot of sex this period, it will help to take away your sober depression.

Sorry for you lost op. Do not hold back your tears, crying helps. I lost mine 4 years ago and i still cry once in while when i think of him, he was my best friend. Try to always keep yourself busy, do things that makes you happy and stay around people. You dad will want you to be happy.

I just feel like I am too academically bright not to have an higher institution education.

Sorry about your loss, I've been there before you but if I can overcome it definitely you too shall overcome it. My dad happens to be my best friend & for more than a month I can't go to work. Cheer up bro, be a man.

reminds me of when i lost my dad 6 years ago and someone said, nobody truly understands the pain of losing a parent except he/she has been in ur shoes. Mine was so bad i cried in dreams. You'd overcome it... try and rmmba good memories and pray for him.

Alomo, regal, and other alcoholic drinks will help ..... They are all pain/stress relievers

It's not easy, lost my husband recently,I wanted to commit suicide cos I thought I would never cope or survive for a week without him, it's been hell, those advising you to cry cannot understand, I've cried and still crying, lost weight cos I refused to eat for almost 5 months,he died in September, since he left nothing got meaning to me again, just living my life as it is. The more I cry,the more my health is deteriorating. I have no advise for you but will read other comments so as to gain one or two things from here as well cos i can't be consoled right now, just waiting on God's divine intervention.
