Hello house, a friend of mine applied for a student permit and was placed as people who are inadmissible to canada, and the visa denied. Before she applied for the student visa her and her family had an existing temporary visit permit which they had not used. That is still valid and was not cancelled, can she still visit canada with her family with the visiting visa?
tyna4real,

What has your friend done to be placed as inadmissible to Canada?
The valid visiting visa she has, will be cancelled. Her profile to Canada has being banned too and can't travel into Canada until the stipulated time for the ban is elapsed.

Hello house, sth strange happened today, a friend got his visa approved. When I asked him who stood as his sponsor, he told me his Sister in USA. He said she did not have much in her acct but that she works in a clinic as a registered nurse(RN). That she provided her payslips. Her status in d states as a Citizen, Letter of support. That is all. House is it possible.

Ratawu,
It's misrepresentation not misinterpretation and yes it might be the applicant submitted fake (falsified) documents.

Good Morning All. I am a newbie here. Thumbs up to all those guiding people through this entire process. God bless you all.
I've been going through the old threads and have some questions if anyone could help me out.

For the TRV for Study Permit to a college, I have my University transcripts from 2014. It is an original copy signed and stamped by the then Registrar. Is it permissible for me to send it or must it be a recent copy?

Thanks in advance

HELLO HOUSE,
I was declined of admission about one month ago.

A professor from another faculty mailed me to apply for a PhD,waived my application fee.
I found out that he has linked my previous application to the new one.

I can see some column changes on my application page that says I should upload the following:
A column for uploading copy of I- 20 form
A column for Bank statement
A column for financial statement for one year.

I don't have the above listed requirements

Please house I have not received admission offer yet.
Showing on my application is Submitted!.
What does these mean as I don't have copy of I 20 and bank statement.
What can I do at present.Gurus please advise.
Thanks.[/quote]

From experience you will get admission after providing those documents. I guess they probably dont have funding for you thats why they need your bank statement.

Sir! Contribute to the thread and stop being in look out for who mentions people's names here.
I address monikers with their respective names prior answering their questions. So, I don't know why this should stand up to a scrutiny.

My bosses in the house, I greet you. Please I want to do my PGD in Canada and the agent I contacted is telling me that tuition fee is 3.5m, admission fee is 100k while visa process is 200k. I want to go for public administration and looking at the total package from a low cost point of view please advise me on the university to enrol with and how best to cut cost. Thanks in anticipation.

Frankrobbn1:

oyeleye900,
Going for undergraduate program at 31yrs of age needs a convincing SOP. It would have been better if you had presented your first degree certificate on your previous refused application and then go for masters degree or PGD depending on your CGPA. But since you didn't declare your degree at the first place, then you need to work on your study gaps, explain to the visa officer what you have been doing since you last left school. Why haven't you enrolled into a degree or training program.
Hi Frankrobbn1,please I want to know if I’m doing the right thing as well. I have HND, upper credit in Food Science & Technology and I got admission into Uni.Alberta for BSc Nutrition& Food Science with major in Food Science & Technology as this is not a direct entry program with high school diploma. I’m preparing to submit my visa application & want to be sure if I’m on the right track.

princetunex,

You don't need to pay 100k to get PGD admission in Canada and visa processing fee cost 56k for paper route and 65-68k for online route. So, save the 200k meant for the visa process(as said by your agent) and go through the stress yourself by reading through the previous past thread 13 and asking questions. As for the tuition 3.5M check the school of your choice webpage, it will be clearly stated there.

Also, explore to below schools, they are quite cheaper and admission process is easier to get.

1-) Algonquin college
2-) Durham college
3-) Seneca college
4-) Holland college PEI
5-) Conestoga College
6-) Nova Scotia community college

Finally extend your research to www.google.com as it will be in best position to answer your queries at this early stage of yours.

All the best!

QUEENBIZ,

It would be best to show a visa officer that there is a logical progression between your intended program and previous studies/job role. This can also be further proved if you're going for something higher than your previous academic level.
What do i mean by this, Having an HND certification and going to Canada for a bachelor's degree does not in any way show progression. It's more convincing to go for a PGD on your discipline and not a BSc degree, even if you secured the admission with your HND certificate and transcripts. Go for a PGD that is higher than a bachelor's degree. I advise based on my experience, many have done it and end up getting refused.

I hope this answers your question.
