Seconded. I think she is trying to prey on some persons using such excuse. Lets assumed it is for real. How will e-bank transaction be made without her pin or token. Or did she also save the pin on her phone too?!

Then your bank is compromising financial security policy. If a bank has mobile app that can be used to transfer money without login and transaction password CBN will penalize that bank and shot it down if care is not taken. However the story is hard to believe. BVN cannot be used for any kind of transaction other than identify your accounts any bank. It cannot be used for any kind of withdrawal or transfer. Before any bank introduces mobile or any money transfer app it passes through some review and approval from regulatory body to ensure maximum security. You can confirm that from your bank product and IT team.
