I’m grateful. The main issue bothering my mind is that I read somewhere that Direct Short Service only last for 10years after which you have to retire from the army, how true is this? I intend to spend the max no of years allowed a regular officer.

no, rather you convert to Direct regular comission(DRC). its not as straight foward as it seem bro. just ensure you have all the required perquisite, stay fit and apply.

Thanks a lot. Is it everyone that gets converted to DRC? Or is it as tough as getting into the DSSC? I’m preparing myself in every way I can. I pray I get what I want when the time comes. Thank you for your time
