I have barely made posts on this thread, but I have been following proceedings religiously!

Made a conscious decision to start the Australian PR process 20th November 2017 after much convincing by my brother @spyroxy1.

PTE 16 Jan 2018: SWLR 90,90,90,90 (Ist attempt)
EA positive Assessment: 3rd April 2018
Updated EOI: 3rd April 2018
ITA: 3rd April 2018

Points breakdown:

Age - 30 points
Qualifications - 15 points
Experience - 10 points (should have been 20 but EA removed 1 year from my work experience)
English - 20 points

Now I couldn't have achieved this without the support and encouragement from my brothers & sister @spyroxy1 @olalekankad @Alphadoor @Azy123 @Tuteso @frankdoch @MamaJazz. I'm deeply thankful to you all and I pray God crowns all our efforts in this journey.

CO advised me to withdraw my niece application. I withdrew it on 29/03/2018.

What is the info on your skillselect EOI page. Cause the system is saying applicants can no longer be nominated on 489 visas by states or territory government. Please confirm that you got the ITA message on skillselect.

Did you get any message from Skillselect administrator yesterday?

Did your status change from submitted to draft or to invited or it remains as submitted.

It should change soon to invited though.

If it's not an engineering occupation or it its an occupation still on the list, then your celebration have just begun.

I expect to have a positive skills assessment as a MLS soon since I sat AIMS exam and it was not too hard.But MLS is a flagged occupation -- may be off MLTSSL list in July. I will get outcome by mid-May .I will have 70 points 25age, 15 experience ,15 education , Partner 5, IELTS 10.
The worst part I turn 40 in October.

I think you are mixing up everything. The ITA from NT will be different if you end up with positive assessment from AIMS.
I don't think using an agent will add any value to your situation because you already survived it. I believe you don't have residuals of the cancer cells left. Meanwhile, ask the agent about details of the ITA.

You are still on point with the AIMS assessment, you can always switch if you end up with 189 invitation later. The issue is just money, you will pay the money again.

Bellong you are very kind and I don't take your advice for granted.I am making a decision to take 489 knowing very well it is not an ideal visa due to age and changes in Oz immigration system.
I am a Doctor/ Forensic Pathologist trying to get a better life for my children . I am fully cured from the cancer as it was more than 20 years ago.But you know how hard it is for Doctors to immigrate ,.. anywhere in the world .So I want to grab the opportunity and get the Visa.
Meanwhile it's night in Oz The agent will reply in the the morning by sending a screen shot on what my SS/EOI says and I will inform the house.

I have a question to ask on behalf of my sister. She studied in school of dental technology enugu, and the result awarded was HND in dental technology and wants to know the accessing body for dental technologist and if it will be accessed as degree or diploma.

If it is diploma can she use it to start her PR journey?

I thought has much.
You can as well move ahead with the MLT/489 as no one knows what July holds in store, all this their immigration laws changing like flying arrows. Best to have applied for or if possible gotten a Visa before the financial year runs out.

You don't need to be frightened. After getting your NT nomination, you have 30 days to accept that nomination which should expire by May 4th. After you get your ITA, you have 60 days to lodge your application.

It's still believed that the messages that were sent out on skillSelect yesterday, is a system glitch which people believe will be rectified soon.

You don't need to rush and sign your NT declaration form, so that you can buy yourself more time since you have 30 days.

Towards the end of the 30 days (which should be in early May), you go ahead and sign the declaration form and your 60 days post ITA starts counting.

Towards the end of May, you should have gotten your results from AIMS and if it's positive, you'll get a new skills assessment. With the new skills assessment, you lodge new EOIs for 189 and NSW 190. If any of the EOIs is successful, you go ahead and lodge your visa application(189 or 190 as the case may be). With 70 points, you might be lucky to get ITA asap.

BUT:

If your AIMS exam result is negative, you go ahead with your 489 visa application.
