Here's an update on the bank robbery operation which caused panic and chaos among residents in Offa town of Kwara State. The robbers shot sporadically forcing residents and businesses to close shop in the Sanni Aba area of the town.


Contrary to reports that four victims were killed, corpses of many victims including police officers have been discovered after the robbery operation including . The robbery was reported to have lasted for several hours on various banks in the area without any resistance from the police or the army.

The robbers who came with heavy weapons and dynamites which they used for the operation on about five banks – carted away huge amount of money and cars before escaping through Igosun route in the area...

Jungle justice is not enough for the perpetrators of this crime. I keep wondering why brutal and deadly robbery is common in this area.

those mofos will rather fly a VIP with the chopper. police don't take the security of their stations seriously.

Just learnt the death toll had risen to 23. They can never escape. These blood is way too much.

What d f**k. This is too much just to get money. God please let everyone involved in this crime and all there generation till d end of the world never know peace for the agony brought to these families. This is sad to say d least

Security is a joke in this country, if a bank moves to your neighborhood, guys please sell your property to the next bank/company that wants to move to the area, with a bank in your vicinity, your area's security is reduced to 2/10 from 7/10

This is a sad day for us in Offa. Deadliest robbery attack in our history.

Sad day indeed. We law should mandate security cameras in banks
But lawmakers and banks can't do none of that. RIP to the dead
