Three road trips per month with three oil changes.... should fix it.

Is it not an irony that most buyers want cars driven by women and lightly used...when short city trips are hard on the engine and long highway miles are softer (better) for the engine?

Angle does not let me inspect the central electrode, just the ground electrode and the metal threaded shell.

But from what I have seen...it looks golden tan/brown which is a good color, looks like it has been in service for a while and deposits have formed....can I have a better look at the central electrode before, I say more?

Yes. Have been using this installed 4pcs on a Honda Accord 2008 3years ago. Car came back to us for another work recently inspected spark plugs and they are all still very much intact. Car is stationed at Enugu. A trial would convince you wink

I am a fan of brand new Bosch Double Platinum plugs, they have unleashed the dragon in a ride I used them in. Combine them with new ignition coils and/or spark plug wires for best results

i thot they said Iridium plugs r the best? now m getting confused o. so my question is do some spark plugs carry more current thereby ensuring better combustion than someothers?

Go the their website https://www.boschautoparts.com/en/ provide your vehicle details

They do not have iridium for all vehicles, I'm that case, you have to make do with platinum.

but then does it make sense using iridium on a 1999 vehicle?

Materials used differ sir. Better fuel economy can't be far fetched when you use Bosch spark plugs

1. thermostat present. i put it back wen mumu mechanic comot am.
2. cooling fan running on default factory settings.
3. short distance (city driving) no travels. max of 20km daily...

could all these have caused it?

After flushing the sludge or eradicating it,always take your vehicle to the highway once a month on Sundays to fire it up to speed at least to 120km/h. It will help the burning of residual carbon and make your vehicle's engine perform optimally. It is called blasting.

about this recommended thing, if the product is a more latest technology compared to the vehicle I believe there is a high chance the product meets/exceeds d requirements of the vehicle...

Not really true. For example.... Certain plugs are recommended for Mercedes Benz engines... But some are not suitable for the kind of fuel we have here....

There is an American law that requires that a manufacturer cannot lock you in with his parts, that is why we have OEM and aftermarket parts, provided it meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications, you are good to go
