I salute every 1 in d house. I am opening dis thread so dat detailed analysis and comparison will b done on d efficiency of this 3 pickuptrucks which are namely, Toyota hilux,tacoma and ford ranger. I will be using it 2 haul my goods(bags of rice,beans,g.oil e.t.c) and 4 my personal use, una know sey money plenty nw ;P and i dnt want 2 buy 2 vehicles so i opted 2 buy a pickup. I'm no car guru but if I were you, I would stick with the Toyotas..Not because I'm one of the Toyota fans but I believed it is more rugged than the Ford which look more like a city truck( no serious off road capabilities) Anyway let me sit down and wait for the car gurus to come.  6 Likes |

These will depend on where you live, availability of spares and mechanic. Toyota hilux manual transmission, 4x4 would be ok. If you haul almost everyday i will advice you get a Dyna for farm or market use. 1 Like |

Since you are also considering it for personal use, asides haulage,I'll advice you go for a Tacoma,it also gives a classy look to your personality that says not all work,it is also fuel efficient but if it's strictly for haulage, hilux is the pick 5 Likes |

cricifixo:L300 is far more cheaper that's why you see most organization that wants to cut cost using it My HR and procurement manager was suspended because of buying L300 pick-up instead of Hilux or Ranger after investigation by my boss he discovered that the cut cost and diverted the remaining funds to their pockets U can't compare L200 with Hilux and Ranger 4 Likes |

My senior boy owns a Chevrolet Silverado 2010 model, but the fuel consumption is much cos it's 5.2litres engine... But when it comes to cruise and speed I must tell you we tour around many city's in a day cos the truck is swerve when it comes to speeding and movement on 4*4....The Japanese are fuel-less automobiles, while the Americans are good looking, more balanced and highly luxurious.... Since you wanna do business and for goods hauling, i advice you get a NISSAN FRONTIER OR TOYOTA HILUX ALL MANUAL TO withstand Gear changing issues.... Have a Blessed Sunday. 4 Likes |
