But... If someone is your enemy, then you're also his/her enemy. So, if everyone prays for their enemies to die, we'd all be dead by now.

Can God who says we should pray for our enemies answer this kind of prayer? Jesus had more enemies than we can think of any human being yet he pleaded that Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Why calling fire on them when you can simply pray for their repentance and God's forgiveness?
