I Regret Ever Reading Political And Administrative Studies At The UNIPORT. by Paulloveiheoma(m): 11:06pm On Apr 30, 2018
TBH with everyone reading this post, I'll forever regret ever reading POL/ADM STUDIES at the university of port Harcourt. I just wasted 4 years for nothing, coupled with all the school fees I paid. I have no issue with the school itself, even though sometimes, the Vice Chancellor tends to misbehave by implementing unfavourable & devilish policies (UNIPORT students can testify to this), but you see the department, heaven alone knows what name I should give it.

A department that doesn't give students what they deserve & unnecessarily punish them for no good reason. I can boldly say anyday, anytime that the academic & non-academic staffs of the department of political & administrative students are beasts in human disguise.

I know that it's a norm for lecturers to be extremely strict & hard on students in tertiary institutions, but dear, that of POL/ADM studies in UNIPORT is beyond wickedness.

A department where the lecturers would boldly tell you to your face that since they didn't graduate with first class, then it's highly impossible for them to give it to you. I can mention all their names but let me just respect myself.

If you think I'm doing this for attention, then kindly ask anyone you know that has ever studied POL/ADM at UNIPORT, if the person gives you a reply contradicting what I just wrote here, feel free to come back & QUOTE ME, lay a curse on Me & also call me a BLOOD LIAR!!!

God knows I am telling y'all the truth cause I almost risked my life trying to get the best grades in a non-deserving department.

Feel free to say what you want to about Me, but I'll say this; IF I HAD READ A DIFFERENT COURSE, I WOULD HAVE GRADUATED WITH A 1st CLASS. My course mates who are close to Me can bear witness.

In pidgin; no bi me sabi something pass sha, but at least, I follow for those wey dey try in terms of academic performance. I can go on & all to give 1001 reasons why the department is a den of evil & heartless staffs but let me stop here.

"In SUMMARY, I AM BEGGING NAIRALANDERS & GUESTS IN THE NAME OF GOD, PLEASE & PLEASE, DO NOT EVER ALLOW ANYONE CLOSE TO YOU OR ANYBODY THAT YOU LOVE TO GO & READ POLITICAL & ADMINISTRATIVE STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT. IF AFTER READING THIS POST & YOU DO SO, THEN YOU'RE NO DIFFERENT FROM THE DEVIL".

(May God Almighty help us all & never allow us to make decisions in life that we would end up regretting; AMEN!!!)

sometimes university lecturers think they can always try to change one's career through marks forgetting they ain't God.

other day I was reading a student asking where he can work with English language as a course.

What we face inwardly but we don't talk.

God be with u nd give u new insights

Our own lecturer told us "A is For God, B is for Him, C is for the most intelligent". Yet his courses were the simplest in Pol SC. Department

First why did you chose uniport?

You need to inquire about a school before choosing.

You should have opted for another department while in school

I still believe you can make First Class despite treats from lecturers

Whats ur grade.

Other went through the same thing, that's if what you r saying is true and kept calm, why you here trending?

Unilorin is worst, could remember a lecturer in physics department pointing to a particular spot that he read there for 24hrs straight and he didnt graduate with first class so he doesn't see any student passing his course. The dude that could have finished with first class miraculously got 2'1 cuz he had "afro hair". Na Unilorin students dey celebrate 3rd class pass person with 2'1. Education in naija is bullshit

Are you saying the course is not usable?
Or is it that you've not graduated after the stipulated 4 years as a result of the wickedness? Don't understand what u r trying to say.

Bro success cannot be attained with your B.Sc cert.

That you studied pol studies and came out with probably a third class does not mean you're lazy, empty and not innovative.

The Nigeria today is different.
It's harder than 5 5" d!cks tied together.

Just be innovative and look on the bright side.

Bottom line, Nigeria cannot help you. She'll only accommodate and pressurize you.

I believe that there are a 1001 ways for you to advice me without using the swear word "fvcked". By God's SUFFICIENT GRACE, I am not fvcked & I will never be. I might not have the necessary connections or VERY rich parents, but I certainly do have SKILLS & I'm going to maximize on them. Besides, I never even planned on using my certificate for one day.

With this your criticism of a department that you were part of, that you could even be returned to groom others in the future is a signpost that you did not deserve to gain admission there in the first place. The certificate Uniport issued to you says that '........you have been found worthy in character and in learning'. If you could be identified that certificate will be withdrawn from you. You learnt nothing all through your stay and in character you are wanting.
Political Science is not an exact science where one plus one has no other answer other than two. It is subjective and it is subjected to individual mindset and school of thought the lecturer values and holds. This is one reason buying their recommended books or their handouts has been wisest choice to make. I have no doubt in my mind that people like you would want to veer off the part to impress or show how much you know more than them. This is in contradiction to one of the 48 laws of power-Do not outshine your master. Don't you know about this as a political student?
My advice look at what you have obtained and see the best you can make out of this. Most times academic excellence does not always translate to 'life excellence'.
I was in Uniport.
