How can a non violent unarmed organisation be intimidating people? What IPOB was doing is exercising their constitutional right to freedom of speech, movement and expression.

However, it is important to not that the role of the Nigerian Army is that of national defence. If an organisation seems intimidating or causing unrest, it is the job of the Police to investigate and charge to court. It is not a military matter. It is illegal to use the military for civilian matters unless the situation has become violent.
