So I don't bother going. If you preach you can make your point in an hour. Moreover they say a word is enough for the wise, you don't have to be repeating the same thing using different analogies that are basically saying the same thing
When it's time for offering and announcement they will delve into another topic and stylishly cheep in preaching again. They'll now say to be continued next Sunday and I'm like ogbeni I have laundry to do. I have food to cook, I have deek to keep busy, no dey waste my time

I personally think its improper- I mean it's common sense.... which of course as we know is a problem in Nigeria- u should not have to warn people not to dress decently, switch of their mobile phones etc.... it's irritating.... u don't even expect to see it in a catholic church although its seems like a normal thing In some other denominations where I've seen a gate fee posted

I once attended winners' chapel back in ogun state, and up till today, I still can't fathom why they allow girls wear nose rings to church; not to mention short skirts

Haha haha. I'm Catholic too. There's this congregation i go to their chapel every Sunday for mass. They don't have all those groups you would see in a conventional parish. Collection is once. We just come for mass and go. No long announcent.

There was one church I attended (CAC) Chai... I wish they can just change their while choir. Filled with old women and dull youths. The service was awesome though (Educated pastor... Something you hardly see in CAC)

It seems you've not attended any of the CAC English assembly before. Attend any CAC English assembly, most especially DCC HQ(not the yoruba/mother church) to change your misconceptions about boring choir and hardly seeing educated pastors in CAC

Where i attend mass, it is only once they do collection. Maybe because it's not a parish.

I'd like my Church to stop making Tithe paying compulsory. It's compulsory in the sense that they tie it to some benefits which you can't access unless you pay regularly. That's why there's a tithe card.

I'd also like my Church to stop planting Parishes everywhere without equipping them adequately. This makes the Pastors attached to these Churches turn to mini-beggars by soliciting for funds from people anyhow and every time.

Also, the planting of Parishes anyhow gives rise to another disturbing practise: ordaining anyhow persons as Pastors. Some are too young, too inexperienced, not hot for God, not well-grounded etc.

Again, I'd like them to join the Communion Service together with the normal morning service on Sundays instead of having another service in the evening for It and doing everything(offering, Praise & Worship, testimony, Sermon, announcements etc) all over again.

Furthermore, I'd like my Church to make their universities affordable for majority of the congregants and their wards whose monies perhaps helped in building those schools. It's only fair, right & Christainly to do so.

Finally, I don't think I will ever understand the practice of smaller Parishes and school fellowships remitting a certain percentage of their collections to the National Headquarters or to the General Overseer's account directly. Except there's something I'm missing. Cos I think the tap should flow from full to empty or half empty/half full and not the other way around.

Church members MUST marry only within the church, if you marry someone who is not a member of your church, you are seen a sinner.

1.offering that ranges from a) Sunday collection, b)offertory,(c)Sunday school collection, d) Thanksgiving, (e)Evangelism support, f) charity support (g) tithe ,(h)pastor support and so on .Everyday Sunday you out to offering plate more that three times and if you don't have you will stand alone while other match out to give offerings
2.Donation we're you will be compelled to pledge what you can't afford at that particular moment. I like donation to be made secret, like bible said when giving that you left hand should not known what your right hand is doing.
3.Breaking out doing a special services and during ministrations and the congregation to soul seed and donations. The ministration that ought to be pure spiritual manifestation.

So my house is like 55 years old right and one time we had some rusted pipes they were metal instead of the normal plastic people use well we had to call plumbers well the hilarious thing was the pastor climbed pulpit to preach that your house is leaking because the foundation is wrong lmao I was livid he was looking at me too when he said it I felt embarssddd do you mean they use gossip to preach well I strolled upstairs to the youth department the place was so flooded come and see pot calling kettle let your envy never lead you to Judge I left that Sunday haven’t been back
