Ah thanks for the clarification ICaSNg the guru.
I saw the posts but some agent my friend met last week was convincingly sure that IELTS wasn't need for VISA.
Hence my confusion.

and did anyone that use the bonds have any issues on getting to ireland. The bond method seems like a better approach to me.

I would have said try your luck but then, 75k is cheaper than visa refusal .

Cheers

It is very compulsory to write language test as the field is marked with asterisk meaning you must fill it during application
IrishPotatoes:
Taking my time to read through this thread from the first page was totally worth it !!!!.
Most of my questions were answered, got a lot of helpful tips. thanks everyone.

Can anyone that recently applied for Irish study VISA (say this year- 2018) confirm if IELTS is compulsory.

And has anyone here used the Education Bond for proof of finance

.

Is any criminal record document required for a work visa application? It isn't categorically stated that it should be provided, but it is stated that the process can be delayed if there is any conviction.

Please if anyone has applied for a work permit or has info on it, kindly share.

Thanks.

You need to apply for one. When you get an employment contract, they will provide you with a letter.

Besides the 2year post study visa, what are the chances of retaining the JOB legally afterwards.

The statement of account or proof of funds isn't the problem, the crux of the matter I am after is the ROI(return of investment)

How easy/tough is it to get a PR so one can legally work there for a longer time. Thats my goal.
Thank you.

Yes, you can apply for PR however some conditions apply e.g

1. To have a sponsored work permit for a minimum of 4 years
2. To have gained a total of 4-5 years full time work experience in Ireland
3. To have spent at least a total of 7 years legally in Ireland
4. Spousal visas too however other requirements have to be met

Cheers

really why spend 5 m for stepping stone ...how many Irish people get 12000 euro for accounts without credit..instead if ur target is Canada just go for express entry from Nigeria
