Pls how much is turkish airline ,,you said you need SCHENGHEN TRANSIT VISA before you can go to Kalinigrad..pls explain more about this because i was thinking of flying from lagos to moscow and enter to train to kalinigrad to watch nigeria match there
i booked about one month ago. 380k each. I paid 760k for myself and my wife. The train will pass through belarus and lithuanian before getting to kalinigrad so a transit visa is needed to pass. Russia is still negotiating with belarus maybe they can allow spectators use FAN ID to pass through belarus but lithuania will definately require transit schenghen visa. So if you have a valid scheghen visa or european passport you are good to go. For us, it means we need belarus and scheghen so it is not worth it. Moreso if you are yet to book the free train it is no longer available. I booked the free trains since march 13 for both kalinigrad and volgograd. I wont use kalinigrad but i will use volgograd. I learnt spending 24hrs inside the train is an experience in itself

Bros look for Airbnb. Hotels are quite on the high side and not worth it.

The fastest and easiest way to get a ticket is to buy it online on the FIFA website. There are only three matches left to buy online.

As it is last minute sale you will not get the hard copy ticket sent, you have to reach Russia to pick it up. As soon as you buy the ticket you can apply for the Fan ID immediately. It is free and once your details are correct you will get instant approval.

The last Fan ID I witnessed being approved was 2 weeks ago and it has not been sent out yet. They said 30 days for delivery.

I have not got my hard copy match ticket yet but I’ve got the Fan ID.

The only matches left have only the $210 seats remaining and they are red meaning the demand is high.

No more naija matches left at all.

My advise is for you to buy any match at all now, as in right now. Then apply for the fan iD now too. You should get the FAN ID before the opening game.

Emirates flight is still just under 400k Naira

As per accommodation. Na hostel get u. They are around $20 a bed a night. That is for those with like 10 people a room. You can still get hotel under $100 a night even in Moscow.

Hope this helps. I’m sure GTBank and UBA cards will work. Standard chartered will not work. Hope this helps.

Load 100k in your GTBank card and buy now. As in now now.

That being said there are agents that probably bought bulk for their customers. They claim to still have match tickets for the group games.

Please, where did you pick up your fan id?

The only VFS center provided when I was applying for a fan id was Abuja center and I live in Lagos. Do I have to travel to Abuja for pickup?

You can go to Abuja or have it shipped to you. When your fan ID is delivered, you can go to their site. Everything is there.

It beats me that something as simple as a fan ID would require an agent.

Go and read the FAQs on the fan ID website.

Why should you go to abuja ? Choose your house. Regular post office will deliver it. I got mine and that of my wife within 2weeks of release from russia. Just track it and check it daily

you are using agent for FAN ID again ? Nigerians sha. Anyway, you will need the confirmatory e mail from FIFA that tickets were allotted to you at the point of entry. You can pick the main tickets in russia

yes i read it. He said he lives in lagos. He innocently asked you wether he needed to come to abuja. Instead of you to say you dont know, you said YES HE MUST GO TO VFS ABUJA. That singular information may discourage it. At worst it will set him back by almost 40k transport money. So the information you gave him is false

The process is very straightforward to employ the services of an agent, expect you're extremely busy to do it yourself.
Nevertheless, if you do not have the physical ticket yet, nothing to worry about. A lot of people don't have their printed ticket (especially those that didn't buy on time, myself included), but it doesn't stop them from attending the world cup. Just go with your ticket allocation confirmation, sent to your email by Fifa along with your fan id and you can pick up your printed tickets in Russia.

Thank you for the info.
I check the status of my fan id today, and they wrote: "in print".
Can I apply for the delivery to be my house address now or wait until the status turns to something else?

What was the cost of delivering it directly to your house?
Re: Travelling To Russia For The 2018 World Cup Let’s Meet Here by binaflexia: 11:20am On May 17, 2018
@helpee

Also, with the timeline you posted on Tripadvisor, I'm not sure I will receive my physical fan id before my travel date.
I intend to travel before the opening ceremony because I will like to be at the fan fest during the opening ceremony, before taking a flight to Kaliningrad for the first Nigeria match with Croatia on the 16th of June.

Is there a way to facilitate the issuing of the electronic fan id?

Thank you

To access a stadium, you will need a FAN ID in laminated form + a match ticket.

For visa-free multiple ENTRIES into Russia over the period from 00:00 4 June to 23:59 15 July 2018 (local time) you will need a FAN ID in laminated or electronic form + passport.
