Do things together: Play an online game together. Watch a documentary on YouTube or Vimeo at the same time. Sing to each other on Skype while one of you plays the guitar. 

Make visits to each other: If she is living within the country, make plans to visit her.

Stay honest with each other: This is very important, honest is key in very relationship.

Keep track of each other’s social media activities: Am not saying you should Stalk her. just keep tab on her. View her Facebook wall, Instagram Page.

Keep each other updated on each other’s friends and family.

Make video call whenever it comfortable: Make video call often. i advice you make more video calls than voice call.

Text her constantly: Get a nice and friendly messaging app, and text her more often. I prefer Whatsapp.

Give each other pet names: Yeah! it cute and adorable, it get couples closer.

you might be right... but too much talking or conversation might bring about awkward moments. which is not good for the relationship. and you might say thing you are not suppose to say in the cause of making the conversation «lively«

You're absolutely right.


Especially the staying faithful part. It's the hardest part. I would only subscribe to long distance for a short term though.
