Adding ma own.

Thinking Chimanmanda Adichie is empowering you with all her feminist positions. You will jus be thrown out of ur husband's house.

Take a cue from Linda Ikeji's celibacy case. They will preach it to girls n females in general but back out of same views when it no longer suits them. Same with Adichie.

You females dey do unaselves, you ask buhari shocked

If you say you're a feminist, you're indirectly saying you're wiser than your creator who gave a standard for marriage.

BTW, I've never seen a Muslim feminist. Its in Christianity that you'll see all manners of rubbish. My fellow Christians why?

Let me take a leaf off Adichie's Harvard speech.

"Sometimes, your choices will not align with your ideologies. You know why? Humans are flawed".

What amazes me the most is how Nigerian guys spend so much time just to discourse feminism or denigrate women while these ladies keep getting wiser by each passing day. You'll soon blame feminism for being the reason for your downfall.

In as much as I am not a Christian and will never be..However in Islam women are permanently meant to be in the background...Their husband can marry as much as many wives as possible and put all of them in purdah while he goes around fuccking pussies all about town..

Women voices are not meant to be heard at all in Islam..They are only for child bearing and Sex..

So it is non Muslims, atheists etc that do that FEMINAZI shit

Thank you

You are not a Christian and definitely not a Muslim. Your judgement of women's position in Islam is myopic, i guess you know nothing about that save what you read on papers written by Islam hating media or what you see in the bad eggs among Muslims.
FYI, Muslim men are only allowed to marry up to 4 wives if they so wish and have the means to cater for them, not as many as they want as you have claimed in your comment.
And who says Muslim women don't have voice but are always relegated to the background? Go make your research lady. Muslim women in the past had been actively involved in the growth of Islam, they were never relegated to the background, there were teachers, nurses etc among them.
Back to the present, why do we now have muslim women that are doctors, lawyers, engineers, pilots etc? Are they non Muslims too? Because according to you, its against Islam?

if you a so dumb as bleeped and dont have any knowledge about peoples religion ,you should just asked instead of saying rubbish. first of all whether you are a christain or athiest i dont fucking care.. islam clearly stated in the quran the rights of women over there men and vise-vasa.. ISLAM IS THE ONLY RELIGION THAT RESPECT WOMEN.. women voice a heard so loud in islam.. men are allowed to take more than one wife, how is it your business or are the women complaining? it's there religion not yours.. and hail yes men and women can never be equal.

Oga, stop this propaganda.
A Muslim man is permitted to have up to 4 wives only under his care. If he chose he can divorce one and replace her or even divorce all and replace them.
If u claim women are not relegated in Islam, then why do the women have a separate chamber behind the men in the mosque...huh??

This is exactly what obtains in my parents home.growing up,we nicknamed my mum "the engineer".you 'll never hear her argue with my dad on decisions,no matter how annoying his views were but in d end, my mum's views are final.

Men and women are equal.
The fact that Bible and Quran makes husband the head of house does not mean men are automatically superior. It made sense in the olden days for the husband to lead cos women are naturally gentle and loving and men were the rough risk takers that did hustling for the family so they were supposed to have more exposure. Women were not even allowed to be educated back then.
So if any man believes he is automatically superior to every female on earth because of his penis then he should go and tell Ngozi Okonjo Iweala or Kemi Adeosun or Queen of England or Angela Merkle that their penisess have granted them automatic superiority from birth.

The other day an 11 year old child asked me a question.

“What will you do if the national anthem is playing and the national animal comes in front of you?”

For those of you unaware, the national animal of India is Tiger, so I quickly replied that I will run for my life.

“That would be an insult to the national anthem, isn’t it?”

I started thinking how absurdly the concept of nationalism has been imbibed in us. Logic has completely taken a back seat.

Feminism also is on the same boat.

Feminism is supposed to be a revolution, a set of campaign and events that project equality on all grounds for both the sexes.

However, for some weird reason, logic from the feminism movement has taken a wrong turn. I stand on a bridge where on one side I see that females have always been the strongest and on the other side I see their rights through history being jeopardised and in the middle I see some pseudo feminists sabotaging the entire revolution itself.

Feminism is not undermining the male community.

Feminism is not being atrociously bold and arrogant.

A real woman does not need the tag of feminism to be strong, honestly. Yes, there are many oppressed women out there who need their rights back but due to a few pseudo-feminists, they might miss out on the real purpose.

Remember, a jerk is a jerk irrespective of the sex.
