No problem with saying your experience is not relevant on EOI since u can't claim points for them. But you can coin these experience to satisfy requirements for state/regional nomination. Don't dull

Okay I understand you now. Thanks

@Techengine.... In addition to what Jayooh has said, you are very much eligible for Tasmania 489 category. However, you need to package very well and do that very fast before the they (Tasmania) reach their intake limit.

Good day Everyone, I've been following this movement from the previous thread since mid-2016, regards to Chief Bellong and other Honourable members in the house. I applied for assessment with Engineers Australia. I have no professional job experience and I wrote my career episodes based on two internships and final year project work. Now, the assessor is demanding a reference letter for the 3rd career episode which I based on the second internship. What I have currently is an acceptance letter issued by the organization when I started the internship. Please, Engineers in the house, I need a format of an acceptable Reference letter so I can approach the former workplace HR with it. Thanks in advance.

I think you can see that at the first page of the previous thread. Just try search it out.

Hello pls I have this important question to ask; I'm a civil engineer, I qualify for the stream 190 visa. My issue is about the assessment body. I have a four years experience in construction but this four years I had is a mini construction company I started myself:I don't pay myself salary or have a pay slip, how do I submit my evidence of employment and experience.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by catchdwind4rmkd(m): 6:59pm On May 26, 2018
No, it doesn't reflect on IMMI account with regards changing the Last Updated Date

However, if you updated them of the change in circumstances via your Immi Account, there's usually a record of this showing when the update was sent when you click the Update Details tab

It doesn't change any information on your Application Home Page; the dates Submitted and Last Updated remains unchanged.

For self employment, certificate of registration of company or business name is very important. You cannot claim any point without it.

Check similar occupations to what you do and go for it.

If you cannot find any, SA sponsors mechanical engineering Draftsperson on 489.

Without mincing words, you can't claim self employment points for a company that's not registered. If you decide to register it now, it can't count backwards for you, and again you don't have any third party document. Just assess your qualification using school project and try to get 20 in English, even with 10 in English(which is the minimum) you can get nomination from different states on 190 and 489.

From the HND information we have, your best bet is assessing with TRA as a mechanical engineering draftsman or technician. So try to read about their requirements for assessment with the zeal you have about leaving Nigeria.

Good day good people, a friend gave me this link that I can get information here that can help my pursuit of getting my Australian PR visa; pls I need clarity on assessment especially the reference letter bit, I have gone through the occupation list and found what I do currently is similar to the job descriptions of an ICT business Analyst but my issue right now is that my job title in my current place of work doesn't bear "ICT business analyst", pls advise me on how and what to ask the HR to write in the reference letter as my job title, because I am about to send my credentials to ACS for assessment, I don't want any issue with them or not have any points from the assessment of my working experience and this is same issue a friend too has, she works in a bank and has her job descriptions similar to the job descriptions of an ICT business analyst but she has a different job title.

Also which universities are tier 1 or tier 2. pls is Obafemi Awolowo University and Federal University of Agriculture of Abeokuta tier 1 or tier 2 universities, want to be sure my friend and I can have our full points for education qualification. hope someone that studied computer science in a federal university of agriculture can still be awarded full points of 15 for education qualification?

Will really appreciate your helpful response.

Thanks

Tell your 'formal' university to give you evidence of the postage. Upload it for VETASSES to know it has been sent. Inform VETASSES that your school already sent it in the mail 3weeks ago.

@Odundimple,

OAU is a tier 1 university.

All 5years courses are assessed to be AQF Bachelor's degree.

However, I think ACS assessment is based on the contents of ICT courses. Your program should have more ICT courses than junks..

Azy123, Alphadoor, Zoew can advice further.
