HeyCorleone:
obviously you don't understand the concept.

Even if you hear The audio of Childish Gambino's original, it makes absolutely little or no sense. What gives it life is the video. The video is the main thing.

What else was Falz to do? There is no other way he could have portrayed the song without copying the video.

It's not just an anyhow song. It's not like Future's "Turn on the lights" that had a million covers. This is a song with a message but the message doesn't lie in the audio but in the video.

Falz had to copy it.

Only unintelligent persons would have a problem with it.
Only a mentally lazy individual will applaud brazen copying of other peoples idea.

PrimadonnaO:
Those are the glaring messages in the video. Others aren't so simplistic. If y'all watch closely, those girls in hijabs might also represent the Chibok/Dapchi girls. Young buys coming out of school shuttles are simply drinking alcohol or drinks infused with codeine, sagging their trousers. All around, the young boys seem irresponsible.

A particular music culture seems to have been killed at the very beginning of the video. Also, you'll notice that all around, there are mostly kekes and bikes. This goes to illustrate that the vast majority of Nigerians are poor...

Have childish Gambino cried foul? I am definitely sure he likes the reaction his music has caused. P diddy even acknowledged falz' work. It started a movement with people exposing the rot in their countries. People from other countries have also done same. The most important thing is the message he passed and the source acknowledged. See ehh I don't have your time really. I would however love to see your final year project. I'm sure there'll be no new concept in it. See your mouth shaped like lack of creativity. Falz is creative no doubt. This is evident from a bunch of other tracks he has released. Don't be a bitter soul.

With all the celebrities that come from Anambra, there is no giving back to their hometown. Flavour go Enugu go build night club. As if that is what will make the youths grow. Gambino exposed the ills in America. Falz exposed the ills in Nigeria. What he copied I don't know.

The ones who understand have appreciated the video. P. Diddy has reposted it. It has over a million views on YouTube.

My Bro, I alwys say something, what we hv in our contemporary world of today, is a certain set of useless Ppl, that r of no values to the race of Mankind. We hv 2 types of Celebrities, 1. Are those with great impact in the world e.g Bob Marley, whom at the peak of his Career bought houses for Ppl to live n help the needy. 2. Are the likes of their P'square n co, without an atom of impact in the world, as well as other yeyebrities U Just mentioned. I dnt evn follow any of them, b'cos I learn ntng, in the lifestyles and useless empty musics. Just 4get them, "time will tell." Bob Marley

Peter had that Dance With Peter show, he gave four contestants cars, money and jobs. It's not like he had zero impact in anyone's life.

E-Money has been dashing people money left and right, it is not his fault that Nigerian youths are only innovative when it comes to means of begging. How many people want to work these days? They just want to beg for everything, the P Square and Tonto and Flavour, all decided to work for their money. If more Nigerian youths could do that, maybe we wouldn't need the so-called 'celebs' help as much. After all, they are also working for the small change they get. And most of that change is not from us buying their CDs, how many people even buy the CDs of these musicians? Less than 2% of the population go for their concerts. It's not easy to make such a cover when all our artistes are hailing yansh and money. Falz is one of our few artistes that can pull this off. He understands what's going happening in Nigeria.
I'm surprised he dropped this within a short period of time and even added IGP Idris' transmission shit

He murdered it and I'm impressed. Truth is always unpleasing to the ears.

make I just centre my comment for the one way I boldened. how do you think artists make cash? Where do they make the cash from? and why do artists home and abroad go broke when they become irrelevant?
the artistes ABROAD make cash from CD sales, downloads ETC.

Let me ask you personally, do you buy ORIGINAL CDs, I'm talking those that cost at least #400, cuz that is the least you get an original. When downloading, do you download from iTunes? Or you just download from free sites? Bearing in mind that entertainment law in Nigeria is moribund, can you guess how much these musicians get from Royalties and such if any?

Have you considered their cut in all this? Some months ago, people were shocked to find that Kiss Daniel was only making 30k/month, is that who is supposed to help the nation? Do you know how many of them are in such situations?

I already mentioned those I can, who have done something. Tonto Dike owns a foundation, they do charity work in Abuja and environs. Recently, she donated seeing machines and food stuff to widows. Lilian Esoro has a foundation, she has also helped in empowering women and kids. Linda Ikeji has employed about a hundred people for her TV station, she also has a yearly seminar she does for young female entrepreneurs, where she also provides them with start-up capital if they have good business plans. Don Jazzy does give-aways at least twice a year. He gives money, there was a time he even helped people pay for things they needed like laptops and cameras for professional use.

I am telling you all this, because the narrative that celebs are not helping is a bit exaggerated in Nigeria. It is not their fault that more youths would rather beg for a means of survival than create one
