Majority stayed home out of respect for the dead and fallen heroes not because of orders.

May the souls of our fallen heroes rest in peace. They fought for a good cause.

Modified :

For those bashing me, please allow me mourn my grandfather who died in the war in Peace. I am currently in Awka, there was no one stationed on the road to harass anyone who wanted to go about his or her normal business. I stayed home. It's a personal decision. I have someone I have to mourn.

How is that contradictory?

If schools weren't functioning today, they should've skipped the exams na. I know schools are on midterm break now and today is Biafra remembrance day, they should've postponed the exam for today instead of participating.
Never knew I was that important to you that you now monitor when I post pictures on nairaland and even reminding me of dates I posted them. I too much
They should postponed a NATIONAL EXAM in Anambra state. Are you educated at all? Have you sitted for NECO or WAEC exam before? Do you even know what it is?. Chaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

IPOB would organize another exam for the students na, at least everybody should be sitting at home instead of going for any exams.
I thought we have enough educationists in IPOB that can easily do that.

Your lies would expose you soon, secondary school students were seen going and coming back from schools today.
1st it was Secondary school students going to school .... meaning schools opened today

Now you have agreed that school didn't open but they have NECO exams of which IPOB should have organized a SEPARATE NECO EXAM FOR THEM.

SORRY

Any opportunity to wail in frustration.

No amount of wailing, cursing and teeth gnashing will save you from the impending sentencing for your corruption crimes. You shall be jailed soon. It's a matter of time before the long hands of the law catch up with you.

You haven't seen anything.
You sound really pained. Na wah o.

Chai, just look at the level of frustration this person lamented in just one post! You only reiterated what everyone has been saying that the terrorists much trumpeted fight against corruption is just witch-hunt of perceived enemies. It's obvious that Nigeria is fighting a lost cause. It's a classic case of winning the battle yet Lossing the fight. The Biafran agitation is force that can't be stopped because it's time has come. Just ask yourself why despite the fact that Nnamdi Kanu is no longer in the equation. The killings of protesters. The use of SE governors to issue threats. The ultimatums of the Arewa etc yet the struggle keeps gaining momentum with each passing day. The Biafrans did not just shut down the East, they have also shut down the cyberspace and also foreign nations where they held demonstrations. I repeat that Nigeria's days as a sovereign nation are indeed numbered!!

Not making sense, why didn't IPOB schedule the exam for another day since today was declared a sit at home day for everyone?
Are the examiners not IPOB Biafrans or are they still Nigerians?
Nigerian schools were open for Nigerian exams for Nigerian students in Anambra state, Nigeria, deal with it.
You still use the Nigerian currency on Nigerian soil as we speak. If na lie, send me all your Nigerian naira this moment.

We have so many reasons to regret in this country murtala mohamed coup was to pull the north out of Nigeria before the British advised dem wrong
Biafra should have succeeded
If only northern troops were not stationed in lagos and ibadan the yoruba allegiance might have been different
Then you are saying in essence that it was cowardice that made yorubas to support the north in the war. The northern troops were also stationed in Enugu and p.harcourt but Ojukwu asked them to leave! Awolowo was already in prison in Calabar and Ogundipe who was supposed to be made the GCFR as the highest ranking military officer after the assassination of Aguiyi Ironsi was forced to go on exile so that a northerner in the person of Gowon would be handed over power. Which means the yorubas were also being unjustly treated in Nigeria back then yet you guys joined forces with a common enemy to suppress the Biafrans! Why was that?

Story for the gods, last year the sit at home was 100% but I said that of this year wouldn't be like that of last year and it happened.
Lazy people and people scared of any skirmish will stay indoors no doubt but others like me moved out and nothing happened.

Is Biafra restored or IPOB is working towards Biafra restoration?

We don't undermine our educational sector that's why we rank 1st in education.

When we restore Biafra, our national exams will correspond accordingly.

However, Schools in Anambra are on MID TERM BREAK..... NO SCHOOL OPENED TODAY.

ANAMBRA RECORDED 100% COMPLIANCE.

Continue arguing with yourself.

Ipob shut down the economy of the land of the faded sun while the other parts Nigeria enjoyed good economic activity. What beats my imagination is they are proud of it. I would have called them idiots but many will say I am using insultive words. grin

Schools should've closed down outrightly as IPOB wanted a total sit at home, at least it can organise another exam for the students.
I decided to get to office today on keke to prove that public transport was intact unlike that of last year.
No school opened today you say but students went to write a national exam and not an IPOB sponsored exam.
If there was 100% compliance as you insinuated then there shouldn't be any exam and of course no movement .
