During the last post match conference, a journalist asked Rohr about converting Joel Obi to a left back since he's left footed but Rohr didn't answer. Tbaba has said Awaziem has played that role before too, can't we try Joel Obi and Awaziem there? We have to make do with what we have, I don't think Idowu or Echejile have much to offer on that side of the field. Desperate times call for desperate measures, maybe Etebo can even help sef cool. Elderson and Idowu na short one in my opinion.
If the coach follows this advice I assure you of 80million PTSD diagnosed fans

Fellow Eagulians.

I assure you all - we gonna see a different Eagle at the Mundial. We are able to keep our Tactics away from the Oppositions.

The Oppositions are as confused as the Fans. They don't know what's gonna happen at the Mundial, kinda difficult for the Scouts spying on us to analyze the Team credibly
.

Kudos to Rohr, and I'm kinda satisfied with the 2nd Half Display.

I used to be bitter at our displays but now, I strongly agree with you. See, I know Rohr is up to something and is playing mind games and tactics.

That second half was a glimpse into our midfield's potential. I know that we will shock the world. Yes, it is easy to be demoralized at their ironically awful display but I have this strong feeling that Rohr has been Fielding our second team while shirlding the public and opposition from our Jokers.

Long live Super Eagles.

Let's get it on guys!! We can do this

Iwobi more creative than Mikel? That is very very debatable. Besides they could both interchange between CM and AM like they did against England.

The bolded meanwhile says it all about your analysis. I can fix you up for a lobotomy for saying that.

**Yara Yara, plsss give this gentleman my card.**

austenite:
The coach is making some tactical mistakes, iwobi shouldn't have played deeper owing to the fact that he is more creative than Mikel. Moses should be benched his impact is zero. Shehu should be relegated to the bench for ebuehi. Finally, Mikel obi offers nothing to this team.

this is the only real positive I'm taking away

That someone is going to feel like we don't offer much and may decide to not take us too seriously, only to be shocked on match day the way Algeria was shocked

we lost against germany and was beating well by holland in 1994 and Spain thought it will be smooth ride and got the shock of there life in 1998.

hopeful we can beat croatia on 16th

If Croatia think this is the team they will face and have a work over, Rohr has just deceived them.

I can see what Rohr is doing although.....

What is he doing if I may ask!

Although, I don't agree with Rohr on certain things but I can see what he is doing to our rivals.

He has confused them so far and they will be surprised when we play them because now Rohr has made these teams to believe illusion about the team formation and team selection.

I like that but I don't see what some players will bring to the team.

Anyway, that's a good one coming from Rohr. The first victim will be Croatia.

We lack technical depth, even if we come out the group, what will happen if we meet Denmark or France in the second round

Ighalo had two shots on target in the first half. I give him kudos for especially pulling off that first save from the Cezch keeper. But the best chance he had came in the second half and he played a silly tame shot. He blew it. Ighalo had three shots in all... All on target but one was so weak and silly (that was the third in the second half). In the first half, he did well getting that shot off and his second also was saved before the ref called for an infringement.

Ighalo may have bagged a goal today if Idowu had the sense to feed him on two occasions. Idowu killed off two of our attacking chances. Sad.

But this is not to exonerate Ighalo. He did have chances and could not bury them. Also, he is not mobile enough. I really am scratching my head on him because he is our starting 9 going to Russia... Unless... wink

Guess our Eyes are clear now....... that Iwobi is a monumental Waste on the Wing?! Our problem is very simple to solve;

A - Play 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 Formation.

B - start Ebuehi as a RWB not Shehu

C - Play Moses as LWB, I've seen him played there at Chelsea more than once.

D - play a Pivot of Ndidi and Mikel as DMs - Ndidi doing the Tackles and Interceptions while Mikel plays as a deep-lying Playmaker.

E - Play Iwobi as a No. 10.

F - Pair Ighalo and Iheanacho upfront - Ighalo will play more inside the Box, while Iheanacho plays as SS, combining with Iwobi to dig out positive Results.

G - I prefer Trio of Omeruo, Balogun and Echiejile as CBs in a 3 at the back Formation. I do not trust Ogu with the CB Responsibilities.

Please sir, I want to know why you prefer Echiejile as part of a three man defence.

Perhaps you see something I don't

in conclusion we should bench moses and mikel.

last 2 months everyone agreed that they are our best player but now they don't over anything to the team.

Nne, thank you for breaking it down much better than I can ever do.

And you can just add - make Iwobi your creative midfielder. Mikel is too sluggish to be effective in the AM role in Russia. He slows our game down. Make it our deep lying playmaker (Pirlo role) and this team would change.

O pari

few weeks ago, everyone said mikel is the only AM in our team and we just need another just incase his injured, now let's push him back

Sir, against Croatia we will chase the game, playing mikel and Ndidi deep won't be nice.

Ndidi and another DM behind mikel...mikel will end up coming deep to help. Rakitic,Modric, kovacic and co are handfull in that the midfield.

Our problem is not the players or formation, our problem is in the players head, they just need to be psych up.

we go do well for Russia

I can't believe I would say this but I do agree with you. IMHO, Rohr needs to sit him down ... read him the riots act: either play within the team or you sit on the bench. I don't even understand how he allowed Moses to monopolize all the set play. And it wasn't like he's killing them either!

O pari

moses corners and free kick where perfect, just waiting for a connection.

he wont cross the ball and head it too

we saw nach indirect free-kick, it could not pass the first man

though i expect a person like mikel to take some of it too.

Mikel is not getting much involve
