Thank you so much for you reply. Also do you know if they will accept IELTS certificate academic? Its not UKVI but the regular one you can you use for other countries as well.

No, they will not accept that for a spouse visa. It has to be IELTS life skills A1 (Speaking and listening) UKVI. They won't accept any other IELTS test apart from this. I took mine in Lagos

Congratulations. Please which email did you contact UKVI with for an update... I want to contact them too. Thanks

Many thanks!

https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/app/international/payment/language/English

We paid to use this service only once, but communicated with them for at least 3 different reasons.

Their reply can be so frustrating... be warned!

My advice would be that you do not waste your time/money to contact UKBA, their responses are somewhat automated (even though you speak to an actual agent, the response is that your application is under consideration by an ECO) which is usually a meaningless update so it only serves to frustrate. If it is about the status of your application, your best bet is just to wait and be hopeful.

But if you have any other query, please go ahead.

Hi Readynow,

Regarding this post about you not being updated yet by UKvI on the status of your application on the 22nd May. Any update now? I’m asking cos I applied about a week after you and I’m still waiting too... not heard anything, I haven’t even gotten that type of email you got from someone saying your application is in the final stage and that a decision will soon be made.

Anyone else in our shoes... anyone apppied around end of Feb/beginning of March, please indicate. Thanks

Hi,I applied at about a week after him too and I've not heard anything. It's really worrisome. It's bad enough we've had to wait for 60 working days including the numerous public holidays. Now this!!!

Thank you very much. Do I need to submit the sponsorship undertaking form with my application?
The documents that should not be older than 28 days, is it 28 days from submission of online application or from when I do my biometrics?

@Lexusgs430 @justwise

I resubmitted my passport for visa on Thursday, May 24 as instructed by UKVI after winning the appeal and as usual, the TLS update mail came through so as to track my stuff but up till this moment, all the parameters are still red ooo. No indication passport has been received which normally shouldn't take more than 1 or 2days.
Is this the normal thing or should I be worried?
Help a brother oo....after waiting to win appeal over a year... Epp me oo my ppl

It's normal. You have won your appeal. Patience is a virtue.....

If you did not win your appeal, would you be this concerned/worried? Your worry would have financial, emotional, psychological and all the remaining al's dimensions..... Don't raise your BP unnecessarily, spend your time now saying your goodbye's and rounding up.....

NB : Remember to drop me those your used jeans + trainers......... Don't forget your 45% tithe too (bitcoins & £ accepted)......

It’s good to know that I’m not alone in this. We just have to keep praying and hoping for a quick response.

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if/when you hear anything from them. I will do the same if/when I get anything from them.

Good luck to us and all others waiting for a response on this platform

Yes, you need to submit the sponsorship undertaking form. I think it's 28 days from the day of biometrics.

Hi.
I submitted a standard application in February, did biometrics 1st march, my documents were sent 6th March. It is 65 working days today, still no mail or update on the tls site. Hubby called last week, he was told a decision has been made, and was also asked how I will get my passport. So on monday, I went to the TLS center (Abuja), but the guy who checked told me my passport was not ready for collection. So hubby called again, and they said a decision has been made, but we should wait till Friday, and that if we dont get my passport by Friday, hubby should call so they can track what the ish is. So I will check back on friday, mail or no mail. I honestly wish i had paid for priority.

It's really frustrating. Let's just hang in there, it's almost over. Hopefully between 2mm and Fri,we would get positive results.

If you paid priority and application was successful. You would be enjoying UK summer now. I heard the summer is in full swing now......

We emphasis on priority application for one simply reason, you take out the possibility of developing HBP......

The best option is to include as far back as possible (i.e. as far back as available to you really)

You should get your “passport pick up email” before the end of today as well. So prepare to go pick up your passport tomorrow.

Good luck to you and to all of us still waiting. Please update us.
