The Family of Rev. Stafford Nwaogu has been thrown into mourning after loosing their daughter Tehila in a gas explosion on Sunday, June 3, 2018, while the Bishop was presiding over service.

Tehila was buried on June 9, the day she was to celebrate her 24th birthday.
She had finished conducting the first session of service on that day and went back to the house to have her breakfast for the main church service, when the incident happened. .

“She went to the house and on lighting the gas burner at the kitchen, flame overtook the kitchen and burnt her,” a source told Punchng. .

She was immediately taken to Umezuruike Hospital in Owerri, where she was later transferred to Federal Medical Centre in the same Owerri, but died on Thursday, June 7.

May her soul rest in peace. Some have nose hut they cannot smell. Our cooking gas has odour is just that people are just careless with what they need to be careful with. Each time I enter my kitchen, the first thing I do is to see if I can perceive any gas odour no matter how small. Thereafter I will open up the Windows for ventilation. Sometime I use foam with soap to test the cap or regulator to ensure no leakage before I can even think of switching it on. Finally at every moment I need to refill my gas, I ensure they change the rubber seal to bran new. Another thing I notice is that people buy expired gas cylinder .trust Nigerians they will repaint it and sell to you without thinking about the danger.
