Thats wrong. OND is equivalent to 2years diploma and he can apply for EE with it depending on the job he's doing. Some work doesnt require a degree certificate.

Having ONLY an OND wouldn't avail him/her much with respect to getting an ITA even if eligibility is passed, whether it's evaluated as 1 year or 2 years.

Again, the job he does has got nothing to do with the process, provided it falls under the right NOC. Hope you understand my point now.

Hi mcstan18,

How have you been? I remember you everytime I hear the new CRS cutoff. How have you managed to remain sane, 438 right? We will all testify this year IJN

My dear, you know losing one's sanity at this time would likely mean getting stuck with this government for much longer. We're moving against the odds to measure up and land the coveted ITA. The thought of having to watch the 2026 world cup live has further boosted the morale of the brethren. You know warramin.

How about our US based "hawt" younger sister? Hope she's fine cos I haven't forgotten o. Lol. Thank you for the kind thoughts and don't be a stranger here.

I'd rather we do the talking here if it relates to the EE process, except it's something really personal

The real question is, a job that requires only ND, can that fall into NOC 0, A or B? Will his CRS be worthwhile? Remember this EE programme has been designed to skim the best. And this thread is for FSW, so I want to believe we're not discussing skilled trades.

In any case, once the person visits page zero they'll be better able to self-analyse.

Hi Obie, sorry for the belated response.
While preparing for my writing, I consulted both Liz and Jay depending on what I was looking for. I tried to tailor the writing to meet the band descriptors for a 9.
For part 1, I only had to understand the tone for each type of letter and their closing. For instance, not to sound overly formal or too informal in a semi-formal letter.
Part 2. For task achievement, I tried as much as possible to address the question even when I had other interesting but not so relevant things to write about. For each paragraph, I stated an idea/opinion, gave reasons for my opinion and gave an example. I think Jay taught this. I also tried to meet my word count.
Coherence and Cohesion: I gave each distinct idea a separate paragraph. Within each paragraph, I let my ideas (not sentences) dove-tail for the reader to better understand. I also made a robust use of connectors to connect my sentences.
Lexical Resource: I used compound sentences every chance I got and I learnt on ieltsliz how to punctuate them appropriately. Making compound sentences without proper punctuations may do more harm than good. I also tried to employ the language of the trade I was writing about. For instance, I could use the word “battalion” instead of “a group of soldiers “, “carbon emissions” instead of “releasing carbon into the atmosphere “ etc.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: I used a couple of idiomatic expressions but only where they fit. I also tried to use more exotic than simple words, but I made sure not to sacrifice spelling on the alter of grandiloquence.

I can’t really discuss my speaking because I kept stuttering and speaking off the topic.

You will excel though.

Thanks alot.

Are you sure about this, cos I have submitted since April 24 and I am yet to get any feedback

The new timeline was updated on BC website last week.

My EOR for 27th of March is still hanging too. But the new timeline has already started working as someone here got EOR in less than 2weeks

Thanks...
-1......I used an attestation of birth which I made in 2016.
- 2......There is a car purchase document with both names (him and spouse). I was thinking about adding a utility bill in spouse's name
-3..... Can i at this point do an attestation of birth for him from Nigeria?
4......he got into Canada when immigration wasn't as organised (more than 20yrs ago) so I doubt mentioning me as a sibling was a thing then.

Thanks for your time.

Anyone can have a car purchase document even a visitor. The utility bill is usually requested for to show that the person has been residing in Canada.
Your attestation of birth is fine for you

1. Which is the cheapest center for medical in Lagos, Family with kid, and whats the process, do you have to book appointment or just walk in.

2. For PCC, must both spouse go to Ikoyi to get it, or a partner can arrange for both partner. Whats the cost please.

3. For POF, I have mutual investment i have some of the money dont provide letter in specified format. Can i moove the fund to bank account without raising issue in the process.

Thank you.
1 & 2 has been answered on Page 0.
3. If the money is in a mutual fund account you don't have to move it, you can get a reference letter from them. Sample of this is also on page 0

You may address it to the particular Province you are applying to for Nomination. Example - Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme (OINP), Ontario Canada. That’s exactly how I addressed mine and my application was successful. Cheers.

Stay away from Ikoyi. You can try Festac or Ikeja but it is more cash.. If you're not in Lagos...no wahala at all.

Mom and baby medicals will be fine.

In my case it took about 4 emails on different occasions before they replied me. I also know of people who never got a reply after sending several emails. So it isn't unusual. You can order a GCMS via www.gcmsbuddy.com, should cost 7.99 USD. If you are not comfortable with using a thirdparty site, you can have a friend who is legally resident in canada order for you on https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/privacyTerms.do would cost 5 CAD

We're not in contention bro. "That's wrong" couldn't have been the best response na. I said "likely". Anyway, the primary concern is eligibility and then CRS score. That's why I had to refer him/her to page 0 thereafter. Having ONLY an OND wouldn't avail him/her much with respect to getting an ITA even if eligibility is passed, whether it's evaluated as 1 year or 2 years.

First i am no bro. 2nd. I said dts wrong cos u said its likely for it to be equivalent to 1year. No matter wot its going to be accessed to two years. Also i said it depends on d job. While filling my profile it asked me wen i first qualified to practice, if i had chosen a senior or a managerial position in my field then OND wont fly cos its on the NOC page already dt even a diploma cert can practice d profession. Anyways he/she can give PNP a try and if ITA drops to 413 then Express entry it is as long as he/she has CLB 10 plus 3 years work experience.

besides what do i know. I yam still a learnerrr
