As I am talking to you, some boys just landed in St Petersburg insisting they want to cross to Finland this night. Nigerians have problem. We advised them on the WhatsApp group they refused. Some were detained at Kaliningrad yesterday. Please Nigerians are not doing well. If you don't have a ticket for a later date than your arrival date you may be sent back. They usually ask what games you are going to. They don't need your insurance. Just book hotel you don't need to pay. I've been in Russia for a week now from.st Petersburg to Kaliningrad to moscow

I disagree with you , ticket was never part of the requirement because your fan id was a proof you have s ticket from the begining .but the immigration start asking due to recent issue mostly by nigerians because people that enter during the first week nobody was ask ticket ,am 100% sure about it ..am on ground here in russia 60 days before the start of the games and i have all the unpdates

Your fan id ,copy your hotel reservation reservation, proof of your match ticket and proof of how you sustain yourself financially during this 11 days it could be cash money with you or your bank card and also have an idea of what you will be doing during this 11 days like places of tourist attractions you intended to visit during incase you are stop for questioning it often similar question any immigration official could ask you if you visiting a country as proof you will return after your planned visit and if you are single out for questioning do not panic or sign of fear just stay cool and explain yourself if ask question about your trip .

Most hotel and busines that accept card payment will ask you which curreny you want to be charged in naira or their local currency and you decide it same system in most country for card payment but anyhow you are charged it make no difference based on my experience staying in hotel in different countries using my bank card for payment and read the rules very well before you book an hotel because some hotel can charge you the first nigth from your card and the balance paid when you arrive based it all stated on the website

oga go and check the official website of fan ID . Tickets has always been part from day one. Never... I repeat, never has there been a requirements to enter Russia with fan ID without tickets or evidence. They may not ask you depending on how busy they are. But if they ask and you can't provide answer you are coming back home. Has nothing to do with just Nigerians. It is always a primary requirement. I don't argue about what I don't know. You must have ticket or evidence of ticket allocation

Get ur facts right. The name on the ticket doesn't matter. Once the ticket is valid u can watch ur match. The ticket is scanned yea but name verification is only done on the fan id..

Common sense dictates that you should enter Russia with a ticket and fan id. But you can always get tickets while in Russia.
I'll be coming in on the 26th via domodevo. Will be lodging at Moscow. I'd like to watch the matches at the Luzhniki and Spartak Stadiums.
