This is not about bashing Ighalo but adopting a system that will favor the team. We are better playing in a mobile attacking system. I do not think Ighalo fits in such a system.

Finito.

For me without a shadow of doubt and or hesitation Ighalo is the first name on the sheet against Argentina for the No.9 slot.

Actually, most (if not all) top flight leagues on break. So, I’m not surprised there is a playoff (promotion) match going on

Not really those leagues have finished with their season. Around Africa and outside Europe leagues are still in effect.

Germany are ponderous.
Timo Werner has a lot to do to prove himself at this level, looks bang average. How they miss a Lewandowski type, even a Giroud to knit together their fiddly wingers like Drax/Reus/Brandt.

In the world cup, who finishes above who will be decided by goal difference, not their head-to-head record.

If that is not conclusive then the greatest number of goals scored will decide.

yes he had the trait but nobody could have guessed he would become best goalkeeper ever he was still rough around the edges then

Yes I want the best for every position what I'm saying is francis has also shown signs that he will be one of our great goalkeepers

Yes I want someone better than vincent and francis might just be the one but that does not mean we won't keep looking for the best goalkeepers just like any other position on the field

Chikena!

They are lucky to still be in the tie. That Rudiger shove was a clear pen. Nothing difference with the Ebuehi incident, difference is that the Sweed was through on goal.

Thank you, from sifting through the emotive sentiment and prejudiced based rhetoric surrounding this topic somewhat Ighalo bashing going on

To state the Objective clear truth
both you and all the Ighalo fanboys here, all of you are talking rubbish

It is the height of prejudice and emotive bias to keep telling us Ighalo brings something. If he is not bringing goals, we don't want it. Ighalo cannot even contribute defensively, he no dey score, he no dey bring goal, he no dey defend goal, but he brings something.

I know that some of you love it when Nigeria loses, just as long as you see idiotic things like useless hold-up play. Maybe hold-up play will give us 3 points. Thank God the win was secured before Ighalo and his useless hold-up play came in.

Utter nonsense is what you are talking. Save the rubbish for your 3 lions. We prefer 3 points to hold up play. Even all over Twitter, I know how people were cursing out Ighalo when he came on and was blocking road with his ikebe, but here, some people now want us to believe Ighalo brings something.

You people just want us to lose, so that you can come here and tell us how your players like Tammy and co would have added more to the team.

You don't even have direction in this your life, after Croatia you said Iheanacho brought urgency that Ighalo lacked, now that we won, you are claiming Ighalo brought more than Iheanacho. Find a position and maintain it instead of dancing around nothing.

Your emotive prejudice and bias stinks to high heavens. Carry your analysis to the English team, we are not interested in it

not only is he on goal drought, he ensures the whole team is on goal drought with him.

Just leave all these people and their dead analysis. If it is not that some people like misfortune, how will they think there is any wisdom in starting Ighalo?

Your assertion becomes contradictory because it actually justifies the position of Forgiveness.

Your condemned by your proposition but then you want to condemn somebody else, but consider the failed proposition you present see in bold.

What in earth then is the NFF doing with an academy goalkeeper being selected for SE. Knowing fully well he is inexperienced, untested and unproven.

Is he the best we have And how do know was he tested in comparison to other Nigerian academy goalkeepers across Europe Was he tested as better than our goalkeepers in our local leagues

A claim can be made that without an objective open and free methodology for selection that thier is some form of favoritism at play is not without credence.

Nonetheless, he is selected and I will support him is it fair CERTAINLY NOT, however life is not fair.

I refuse to read what you said because you are fond of saying nonsense like your twin brother forgiveness.

Bird of the same feathers flock together

Take a hike bro.

Have you added him to your UK breed list?

If that happens Argentina will beat you 1:0 and Iceland will qualify with a 1:0 win.

Hold up is not what we need against Argentina but pace.

Let me help him.
Because he pauses play instead of going for goal. That's what it means to hold up play. If he wants to hold up play he should learn from Lukaku

Komekn, i prefer Iwobi as Striker than Ighalo.

in 8games,which a striker supposed to scores at least 1goal. it was Iwobi that scores 4goals.

Ighalo would chop bench if Mou was our coach. There is no other explanation for this simple fact. Yakubu wasn't this poor.
