Thank you. The money has not gone below the required amount. I was just worried because the money had been in the account for 40days now. So I can just print from the last 28days since i have the required amount still intact in the account?.

LaaJiblik:

If the Balance of money in the PERSONAL or PARENTS’ account has not gone below the required threshold, at any point in time within the last 28 days, that’s fine.
You can use a 1,000,000 day old account. Just be sure the amount has never gone below XYZ if you count 28 days downwards from the day you click “Submit” on your application form.

Print for the last 40 days if you wish.. it’s fine.
In fact, you can print a 3 month statement. Just be sure that if the UKVI people count down 28 days, there will not be any point the money was below the required .

This person didn’t tell you his circumstances. He didn’t tell you what the requirements for Canada visiting visa are, and which of the requirements he has fulfilled.
Nobody on this forum discourages anybody.
Just meet all the requirements, and you don’t need someone to calculate your chances for you.

Hello @Justwise and other gurus here, I need your advise please.
I am resuming at the university of Bath in September but I dont like the accommodation allocated to me by the school. Its a single room in a 6 bedroom flat with 2 shared bathrooms and kitchen with a price is £600/month (bills inclusive). I personally would prefer a studio apartment or share a two bedroom flat . Anybody with advise on renting properties in Bath should please advise. Houses there are really expensive!! Also if I find a place I like, should I pay for my accommodation from here or wait till I resume and see the place for myself before paying. Thanks

Bath is an expense city for sure but you can use gumtree to search for one room in a shared flat

I’m not sure, but I don’t think UKVI would stress so much in the source of the funds for a T4 PBS application.

Having said that, if I were you, I would print a 3 month statement. will not only print a 28 day Statement.
But for the sake of the application, I would consider June 11th As Day 1. Then count 30 days. Then add a few more days, and print a statement with July 15 as end date.

Sunmary: you have a3 month statement, the ECO counts 28 days downwards, your Balance was never short on any day of those 28. The extra days are ‘bonus’. You are good to go.

Print your bank statement from 8th which is the day you have the complete amount.

You can put 2 or 3rd of Sept.

Hi people, I submitted my Tier 4 visa application yesterday and thought to update you all on how it went.

They have stopped collecting documents, so all they did was scan my supporting documents and returned them to me. Did my biometrics and had my picture taken (they no longer require passport photographs)

The interview went well too they asked;

-The name of the school I applied to?
-Why I chose that school?
-My current role?
-When I finished my 1st degree n what I studied ?
-What I have been doing since my 1st degree?
-How my intended course of study is going to impact my long n short term goals ?
-Where i am going to be staying while studying?
-If I have relatives in the UK ?
And lastly my expected salary ?

I submitted in Abuja and paid for priority...fingers crosssed

I have read virtually all pages on this thread and have learnt alot but i still need u guys to answer this questions.

I recently got ptdf scholarship for my PhD in the UK (all expense paid) and I have secured admission to resume school 10/10/2018 (HWU)

As a PhD student I believe can travel with ones family. (My husband and a son in my case) and I would love to

My questions

1. Can a third party transfer the needed fund for maintenance and living cost for my 2 dependants to my husband's account at once for the 28days period
Do we need to show the third party's statement of account

2. How many years visa will be given to my dependants

3. How soon can my family ( dependants) join me, " can we even resume together in October" ?

4. What are the documents to be submitted for the visa application

4. On getting to UK will my husband be allowed to work

5. Are there day care for 1yr old babies

6. In how many weeks can we get a decision on my dependants visa application.

Please Educate me.

Thanks alot!

2) I think it will depend on the length of your phd.

4) tier 4 dependants are allowed to work full time.

5)you will get but don't expect it to be cheap. You can also get a child minder for your baby.

6) to the best of my knowledge it's normally 15 working days.

Hello everyone...Please has anyone applied for a tier 4 visa under any of the new schools qualifying for the pilot scheme? If so, did you need to submit or show evidence of financial capability. My school, University of Sheffield qualifies, and they instructed that 'I may not submit financial evidence'. Please someon should let me know if I can go ahead for the interview without submitting this.

Secondly, I've been denied a visa to the US once but I was eventually granted the visa. In the part that asks of denial of any visa should my answer be 'Yes'. And if it is, what will be my reason for denial? US embassy didnt give me any reason at the time. Please kindly help me with these questions. Thanks

I will advise that you still prepare your financial and academic documents for your Tier 4 visa application (e.g. such as a bank statements/sponsor letter or academic qualifications), you will not be required to submit these. Please note that you are still required to meet the Tier 4 Immigration Rules and you may be chosen to provide this documentation to the UKVI.

Secondly, the question about problems with immigration to other countries other than the UK does not ask whether or not you were granted visa after having been denied previously. It asks, "Have you ever been refused a visa for another country other than the UK?" - period. If you answer "No" but then they determine that you have been denied a visa in the past, they may consider that to be fraud, and you will be barred from entry for a number of years. It is better to admit the truth since you'll be asked to provide further details such as the section of the U.S law (e.g 214b) which determined your ineligibility. Besides in the preceding section your international travel history will show that you've been to the USA before. See if you could also talk to the international student support of your school to get their opinion.

I hope this helps.
