My dear, elections are not conducted on social media. You need money (plenty of it), strategy, boots on the ground, good ground game, brain work and clarity of vision to win elections. It is a game of numbers. It is foolhardy for anyone to think that APC would be thrown away from Aso Rock just 3 years after! Those who think in that way, are politically short-sighted and fatally myopic. I will explain.

APC grew from Lagos. It then expanded and captured most of the southwest states except Ondo. Then it captured Edo and lost Ekiti. Then it captured Imo. Then, Aso Rock. With Aso Rock, it also captured 17 out of 36 States. Recently, it got back Ondo and has added Ekiti today. That means APC is in control of the finances and power of the Federal Government of Nigeria, controls 19 state government and finances! It also controls the Police, EFCC, ICPC, DSS, Army, Navy, Air Force, Civil Defence, NIA, DMI, etc. On the other hand, PDP which used to control the Federal Government and more than 24 States at a time, only has 10 States and nothing more. To make matters worse, the 10 states are being held and run by extremely unpopular gluttonous crooks with itchy fingers.

Add to that brew, is a President who has loyal followers and cult-like dedicated supporters - stuff no other politician in our common history has ever got. The outcome is a party that would rule for a pretty long time. By my extrapolation, APC would run this country for at least 20 years unbroken. If the infrastructure revival currently going on across the country gets the necessary continued attention, APC might rule for up to 5 unbroken decades.

PDP would die a natural death after 2019, just as a lot of the regular politicians would be permanently retired either back home, or to Kuje Prison. Mark these words.

I love your analysis so much. You're a right thinking person.

Some think all this Fulani herdsmen shout will change people's opinion about APC and Buhari. Quite the contrary. Everyone knows having APC governor means development; measurable, verifiable development.

I noticed the APC camp was relaxed during the Ekiti rally, and I knew they have done their homework.

PDP cannot unseat APC in 2019. 2019 will only succeed in destroying the likes of OBJ politically. This is simple fact.

I can't believe that Nigerians will still vote for Apc upon all the evils things that's happening in the country.i can't believe my eyes. now i believe that Nigerians deserve the punishment they are going through in this country i will never have pity for people complaining against bad leadership again in this country we deserve the kind of leaders we have. I will never comment in anything concerning politics in Nigeria again.

APC winning means, those agitated APC members contemplating decamping will stay put.. they will not want to risk defecting to PDP again, because the vision is clearer, PDP structure nationally has just been hit a deadly blow in Ekiti...Ekiti for PMB in 2019.
Remember, PDP and GEJ won in Ekiti in 2015 ..#Fayose's factor... this has just been eliminated!

#PoliticsIsSweet
@the bolded...it doesn't work that way.
Remember they didn't vote Fayemi because of Buhari and definitely would not vote Buhari next year because Fayemi is the governor.
Buhari's achievements should count for him next year, if not, he's still going to lose in Ekiti next year.
Don't forget Fayemi and Eleka are both sons of the soil, regardless of the outcome of this election, but who cares about the fulani man in Ekiti?
PDP winning Ekiti didn't determine the outcome of the 2015 election, don't expect anything different...same with defections. You should know better.

Tell me how many I dustries do you have in Nigeria delta aside from few oil servicing and IOC.

Very true words these are.
