Osun has 4 million people. Its debt profile of N179 billion is to be
repaid in 20years, per annum, ascribed by them am sure it's a lot more, they're just trying to shield light away from it,Now hope u know even after the bailout funds he still refused to pay full salary what about that, there are still federal allocation and IGR from the state coffers, why do you think Osun pensioners were calling on buhari not to pay their pensions through him,buh directly, how dhould I know outstanding debts to contractors,am I working with them, they have been busy abandoning project on a on and off basis without completion going for about 5-6years because of money.

Osun debt is 450billion.

I thought that oil prices were high during Jonathan’s rule, which was when Aregbesola became governor?
How much debt did Oyinlola leave in 2010? How much is the debt today under Aregbesola?
What % increase of civil servants occurred under Aregbesola in eight years?
Can you answer all the questions instead of peddling lies and propaganda
Oga, oyinlola left 9bn debt before he was deposed by court. Aregbe is the best governor osun have in terms of physical development follow by baba akande. This man will as well go on Fridays party spree just oyinlola used to he was governor. They party at Malcolm hotels every Friday. Osun needs a serious minded governor now, not a controversial character who tendency of dancing our future away.

The thing tire me. Ogunbiyi would have won this election hands down. A picture of a finance guru with a sturdy career and new vision for the state.

The APC candidate represents continuing the old vision while this adeleke guy seems like an immature guy wt no vision. Instead of projects, na to dey party and share money.

I would rather vote for continuity though, maybe we strike gold and we get a Fashola, who outdid his master.

To me aregbe has been a complete hustler with a clear vision. He showed his intent and did a lot of good things. I think the financial challenges in osun are much and he was limited by his own level of exposure/education, not out of uselessness.

Steady hands of continuity is what got Lagos, Ogun and Oyo where they are now. Sometimes its not about party, but rather the person, his/her capacity and whether the will is there to give incremental improvements.

So in Lagos Tinubu did good, Fashola came and did better and now Ambode is even doing greater! He has clinched another 4yr mandate before his first term is even over. This is what we want to see everywhere in SW....incremental improvements and growth.

I dont want Osun to make the mistake of Ekiti with Fayose. If that happened Osun will retrograde and Yorubaland will not be immuned from the negative growth.

There is a concert amongst Western Governors comparing notes and converging regional interests in alignment with DAWN. Even if APC candidate is not all that strong, voting APC in Osun is a better outcome.

Moreover, we must vote APC regionally, no options. Unless APC present us a Presidential candidate other than Buhari our options remain open at national level.

Buhari is adamant on giving grazing land to fulani. That was his mission for coming back. As we speak Fulanis are being staged in different states in South. Post 2019 they will attempt in South what they already accomplished in middlebelt. At moment even Nigerian Army is incapable of confronting them without heavy casualty on both sides. So its impossible Army will protect or give us any safety in South when it has difficulty protecting itself against the herdsmen. We must by all means block Buhari from returning to power.

We cannot just vote anyone in as alternative....we need a thorough introspection on this one.

Restructuring should be our candidate but no politician is serious about it. The people that are pushing the agenda are not in political office.

APC regionally
NO to Buhari nationally!

I was going to vote PDP had Akin Ogunbiyi won the ticket. I think I'd rather vote Omisore of SDP even though I have my reservations about him. Still better than Ademola Adeleke or 'Ileri 'Eko' (the ajele from Tinubu's Lagos)

What do they even know? For your information, Aregbesola has spoilt the party's chances already. He himself doesn't give a bleep as to who emerges because he wanted to root for Oyebanji but Tinubu forced the Oyetola issue.

Until they understand the rigging pattern of the APC they cannot defeat APC.
The same strategy used in Ekiti will be used. They need to change the INEC chair first of all by someone appointed by the masses not bubu.
Then the need to find a solution to the menacing presence of police and soldiers at polling stations.

Nigeria's politics is not ripe enough to admit distinguished and accomplished gentlemen like Akin Ogunbiyi.

Adeleke stands a better chance of winning the main gubernatorial election than Ogunbiyi, that's the truth. The illiterate rural dwellers who are in the majority and who are the ones whose votes count the most would prefer to vote Adeleke because that's who they know.

The same thing happens at the national level where an animal like Buhari and his supporters would boast that his 'standby' millions of voters in the north don't even know what the Internet means, let alone social media. Meaning that there happy to keep their voters poor, illiterate, and unenlightened so that they would continue using them like pawns.

In other words the majority of voters are not enlightened enough to vote for competent candidates. They'd rather vote for a brain dead cattle rearer like Buhari, than vote for someone like Donald Duke or Sowore. That's our present level of political development in Nigeria.
