Well, for maps, I start out by drawing the 4 cardinal points (NSWE, NE, NW etc respectively)) when given time to go through the questions. Hence make sure you note those points well.
Another thing is mark the questions on the question paper(Note the questions), there were times I mistaken questions for alphabets used for landmark.

Trust me, you can ace IELTS, I started out scoring 25-28-30-34, when I wrote the exam I scored between 36-40 consistently for 10 tests. Give it all it takes. My Listening was 8.5.

i have a sibling who got his PR ,he landed in canada,did the needful and got his Social insurance number but had to move to the US . can i use him to gain sibling points in EE or do you advise against it.
what is required to show proof that one has a sibling in canada.

As for the map, you need to practice and practice. My first ielts on May 12th, I didn't practice the Map and it was right there staring at me. As usual I became confused and missed the whole 5 questions pertaining to the map. I ended up with 7.5.

I came home and restrategised. I decided to conquer my fear and started practising it. I used Cambridge materials and also checked online for ielts map related questions (I'll check my browsing history for one or two). Long story short, ielts June 30, I saw the map and smiled. I went with the flow, no second guessing. I got 9 in listening.

My point is practice and practice it over and over and conquer the fear.

The cost will vary depending on the bank used. No one can clearly state the amount unless they just paid recently using the same bank as you.

i used WES. but i have sent you a number let me know how it goes. its alot of money with ABSU 30k for transcript, 13k for courier. then the logistics... changing reciept, transport to bank, and thank you ma... also ABSU mandates you pay another 43k for verification. crazy crazy system...

Congratulations to aaaaaalllll who have gotten their PPR. I cant wait for the day I write my long post of PPR. I have fantasized about that day since the day I joined this thread in PART 2. I remember when I started this journey last year, someone said to me "this Canada waka will teach you patience" I just smiled, in my mind I had it all planned out, and by August we were surely going to be out of here. I have indeed been in the 'School of Patience'. I trust I will be a better person after this.

Surely we will all get there.
